There were 8,000 there for a Wembley final. Imagine what sort of away crowd they'll take to any southern clubs next year? They're another Fleetwood, and so are Fylde (and so are Salford's semi-final opponents Eastleigh). I'd much rather Wrexham, Solihull or Harrogate have come up. |

I presume James means his giving away a penalty which, though costly, indeed didn't result in any red cards. |

Hill put Matheson on for a huge game against then-24th placed Wimbledon. He gave away a 90th minute penalty. As much as he's technically gifted and I'm sure he's destined for much bigger things than this football club, blooding in kids who are still yet to even sit their GCSE exams into a relegation battle is not the way to go. |

From what I can work out, if Wimbledon don't beat Wycombe on Saturday then we are safe whatever happens at Spotland (given the points mathematics of Plymouth and Scunthorpe still having each other to play). A point on Saturday and we are safe, anyway. |

By the letter of the law, I'd assume it would be considered that Lillis took a poor first touch and then picked up the ball. I suppose it's a backpass? |

I've got to say, I was a bit concerned that BBM taking charge would mean that nothing changes, a continuation of everything that was wrong with the end of the Hill era. And he's not changed much - same players, no radical changes in tactics or formations. But what he does seem to have done is given the players a bit of confidence and belief - as a man manager, he seems excellent. BBM is the sort of bloke you could have a chat with for hours, I'm not sure Hill was. |

Walsall probably can't get anyone better, and Hill probably wouldn't be able to get a job anywhere better. It just fits. |

Walsall is an alright away trip and not too far away. Might be interesting next time we play then, too - Hill is still the favourite for the job there |

Big Jim deserves a lot of credit for that, today. Where would we be without his block off the line? |

Maybe we are all getting a bit excited. But when was their last this sort of optimism, this positive feeling around the whole club? Maybe we'll stay up, maybe we'll go down. But BBM has definitely changed the atmosphere at the club for the better. |

I'd be shocked if BBM didn't keep Nthle, he's looked like a different player since BBM came in |

So we've given Sunderland fans part of the home end, displacing season ticket holders, and they can't actually sell it out? (Although, to be fair, it is a bit of a poor do if Sunderland can't sell out Rochdale away) |
