Where will we finish

I’d take 18th. At the start of the season I was hoping we’d finish in the play off spots. I thought we were well on our way after Goodliffe’s double headed brace sent us all into hysterics.I’ll stick by the Cowleys. Let’s hope they can turn this sh#t show around.probably need to spend in January.

I’m a big fan of DC and I believe he will come good eventually. I just wish he would stop changing half the team each game. Some times it’s needed and sometimes it’s not. Yesterday was a perfect example of when it’s not. We had found our footing and were looking in control. We could have cruised home.

He also needs to stop bigging up the opposition every week as if we’re playing Brazil. Every time I listen to his prematch interview I come away thinking “it sounds like we might struggle against them”. He convinced me Morecambe were a decent team. Turns out they weren’t. Can’t believe we drew that game.

Too many changes too early. Destroyed the flow of play. Should have left the players on for longer. No need to have changed things. Someone needs to tell the Cowley’s you don’t have to use your subs.

Another Open day.

I’m really shocked to hear the pitch is in poor condition. I thought it was going to be ripped up and new drainage put in and a new pitch laid. Surely we’re not going to use the same pitch as last season? I usually try to stay on the positive side but that news has made me feel a bit anxious. I can’t do another season of that pitch. 😂

I heard more fans have collapsed this weekend at games. One died. What with all the sportsmen collapsing lm getting a bit worried. People are starting to say it’s the vaccines causing it. I had a really bad time after my second shot. I ended up in a and e. my heart rate went up to 180bpm for about 3 hours and I had really bad palpitations. I was in hospital for a week with intermittent problems racing heart and such. I just wondered if anyone else has had problems. I’m really worried about getting my booster.

Prediction League Monthly Review

As of today I will be doing a monthly review of the U'sual prediction league. I will post the review for each month on the 1st of the following month, hence today is the 1st of September so here is the review for August.

At the moment we have 26 teams competing in the league. 14 of those have played all 3 games to date. 5 teams have played twice, 4 once, and 3 are yet to get out of the dressing room.

Its close at the top of the league, as is to be expected at this early stage of the season. Layer_Road_Cat is our early league leader with a healthy 9 points. Only 1 point behind on 8 points in second place is Daniel. Then we have 4 teams all on 7 points they are mfb_cufc, RSCOSWORTH, AFCMorant and BrightSpurs.

This month a special mention goes out to Barsidepete who has only played once but already finds himself sitting in 9th.

Good luck to everyone during September and hopefully we can all gain lots of points predicting Col U wins.

If you have U's player you can sign into POSH player and watch a full rerun of the game if you wish. I don't know how many people are aware that you can sign into any of the football leagues teams that have the Player facility using your U's player username and password.

OMB down 2nd day
