Put together a spreadsheet which I think gives a better picture as to where we are in terms of attaining the magic 40 points. What I've done is at the start of the season taken every team and predicted what we will get against them, coupled with what we need to get against them to get 40 points - in fact it came out as 41 points, which is handy given Sundays destruction of our goal difference. Cant get the s/sheet on here so key data below. Pred Total = Predicted points we will take from home & away fixtures (total = 41) Act Total = Actual Points we have taken from home & away fixture Proj Total = Actual Points taken (if fixture taken place) plus Pred Total for games not yet played. So for Everton, I predicted we would get 1 point (at home), so our actual total is 3 and our projected total is 4 (1 for predicted home draw and 3 for actual away win). On my s/sheet I have split this into home and away fixtures but screws up the formatting so only able to post totals. Out of interest, I predicted we will get 27 points at home and 14 points away. Pred Total Act Total Proj Total Arsenal 0 0 0 Blackburn 6 0 6 Bolton 2 0 1 Everton 1 3 4 Fulham 2 0 1 Liverpool 0 0 0 Man C 0 0 0 Man U 0 0 0 Newcastle 1 1 1 Norwich 6 0 6 Scum 0 0 0 Spurs 0 0 0 Stoke 1 0 1 Sunderland3 0 3 Swansea 6 0 6 Villa 1 1 1 WBA 4 0 4 Wigan 4 0 3 Wolves 4 3 6 Totals 41 8 43 So were currently looking at getting 43 points and staying up, simples !! SORRY - table format gets changed so difficult to read. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]
