Didnt look like that on the tv, Kingsland stand and Chapel Stand closed would have been about 15,000 empty seats on their own, , the other two stands were less than half full | |

I guess you get more of an overview on TV. It looked like the official attendance figure was correct to me from where I was sitting at the game. The Itchen seemed packed and when I looked at the ticket site online before the game, it was just about sold out.
What's the capacity of the Itchen? The Northam was at least half full. Then there was a small group of Lazio fans in the Chapel/Kingsland corner. The attendance figures are based on the number of tickets sold so I guess it's possible not everyone turned up. [Post edited 9 Aug 23:14]

didn't help that Getafe preferred to kick lumps out of us, a lot of unnecessary fouls all over making the game so slow and boring. Pre-season games eh? can never take too much out of them just getting some minutes under the belt. | | | |

Plenty of action around our goal caused by trying to knock the ball around in our box and often proving the opposition with gilt edged chances.
Lost track of the yellow cards that were brandished.
If this was a Prem game there would have been red cards for both sides, primarily Getafe.
