So it is nearly coming up to 50 years since my Mum and dad met at Loftus Road.... back in the good old days they tell me...

Was wondering for any ideas of getting hold of any memorabilia from then, any players from then still around from a signed something or other, etc etc?

Without looking it up, I would imagine that our side would have been from these players:-

Parkes, Clement, Gillard, Venables, Mancici, McClintock, Thomas, Francis, Leach, Bowles, Givens, Watson, Hazell, Abbott

I do recall that it was 0-0 in a match where we totally outplayed them & Shilton had one of the best games of his career.
