Looking at the early odds for our league Cup match vs Bolton we are even money to win.
Considering Wycombe are 2/7 to beat Bolton tomorrow I think its good value!

Speaking of Bolton....

Josh Magennis has refused to travel to Wycombe tomorrow.
Although it looks like maybe the entire team is!

The team bus has been sat outside the Macron for a few hours now, they were supposed to set off around lunchtime - the players got on and now they just haven't moved.

One of the younger players said he doesn't even know if he's registered to play!

It would appear they were promised the full 5 months wages today and only received 3.

It would be an ideal time to play the Trotters......whilst they are still in disarray.

Sort of hope it continues for a few more weeks.

It seems some players have had salaries with PFA loan payments DEDUCTED, without notice. Seems some senior players have taken umbrage and haven't travelled, Magennis being one of them.

The farce continues to the first whistle...

“It is easier to fool people, than to convince them that they have been fooled”

Just read that too. What would be the point of travelling with 3 players? Are another 10 suddenly going to make their own way to the match? very strange and doesn't look good

Presume the rest of the squad that has travelled is made up of youth team players?

According to the BBC report of Wycombe vs Bolton (not a bad result, considering, and an impressive number of fans):

Bolton Wanderers were beaten 2-0 in their opening League One game at Wycombe - after travelling to the game with only three contracted senior outfield players.

Manager Phil Parkinson named six debutants in his starting XI, including Josh Earl and James Weir, whose signings were announced when the teams were revealed an hour before kick-off.

There were eight debuts in all, as teenagers Joe White and Callum King-Harmes came off the bench for Phil Parkinson's side.

Preston loanee Earl lasted less than 15 minutes before he needed to be replaced after being hurt in a collision with Wycombe's Paul Smyth - who went on to score the hosts' opening goal.

Northern Ireland international Smyth, on a season-long loan from QPR, got onto the end of a pass ahead of onrushing Bolton goalkeeper Remi Matthews and turned the ball into an empty net.

Substitute Fred Onyedinma headed in the home side's second with nine minutes left.

Bolton, who had more than 1,600 fans at the game, performed admirably but remain on -12 points as a result of going into administration in May.
