Absolutely no chance. Was pretty sure that Sunderland only let him go because they couldn't afford to keep his wage on.

Always like watching Cattermole - reminds me of watching Shaun Reid for Dale back in the eighties and nineties.

Probably out of our league in terms of wages, but would be quite a good fit as "enforcer" looking after our youngsters.

Why would he play centre half or even right back?

This site is just a blog. Whatever’s written there is just opinions and wishful thinking rather than based in any fact or even rumour.

Why not an old head at the back who can pass the ball!
Didnt dawson move from midfield into the defence.

No

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

buckets never learn from their mistakes. They don't know any different. Look at their recent history. There's a word that will rattle their cages

It would help if he was at least 6 inches taller and could at least defend, could be a decent starting point

Very true, but at least they've got their videos from the promotion game at Tranmere to provide them with memories.

Would that be with the team put together whilst their previous chairman was in charge? Or the team that was added to during the last transfer window after that chairman had left?

That’ll be why the achievement means nothing.

Or did you mean the previous promotion at Tranmere when they built a squad that contributed to the debts that exist today?

Either way, means nowt.

It was a team that gained a dubious promotion with both SD1 AND SD2 in charge during the season.
How they celebrated.
Two fantastic chairmen, obviously......
