Not sure it's fair to suggest that the "anti Ramsey" crowd don't get their chance to have a say on here. It's just that amongst the rational, explained reasons why people don't think Ramsey should stay, there are some nonsense extreme over reactions too, and those are generally the ones where posters get criticized for giving him unnecessary stick.

I think the trouble ATM is that the crowd goes with some expectation to games like Fulham & Brentford hoping Rangers turn up and give them a good game & seeing some slick attacking football which for me is the QPR ethos.
But they don't
Matches like this are great local nights out almost like a home game you always get good support but your are always let down.
The fans would have been back onside if we won that match - they were patient until the end of the game when a few boos rang out. |  |

I'm not sure you can have Ramsey on that list, he's only been here 10 months and he's getting some vile abuse. The others, fair point though, people were very patient with Hughes when that had clearly gone wrong.
To Dave's point though, Pearson had 18 very mediocre months before his promotion season at Leicester. The season before he won just three of his final 18 matches and they were well down the Championship. There would definitely have been a clamor or change here if he did the same.
I think he's a non-starter anyway. He fell out with our current CEO when they were at Leicester, he behaved erratically last season and the whole racist sex scandal his son was involved in which led to him leaving the club isn't going to sit well with our Far Eastern board. | | | |

Doing wonders at a very settled club, where the previous manager had done a huge amount of ground work and - judging by what he's subsequently done in difficult circumstances at Birmingham - is clearly a bit of a talent. One of the best training ground's in the country, one of the longest serving and best chairmen in the country, rock solid foundations, a support base that's just happy to be as high as they are now so zero expectation or hostility, inherited an already very decent and successful team. And on top of that, JFH is vastly inexperienced as a coach and manager when compared to Ramsey - one of the big criticisms of Ramsey.
Not saying it definitely wouldn't work, you can never be sure, but he has zero experience of managing in the division we're in and QPR have absolutely none of the positive things he inherited when he went to Burton.

Travelling around with our fan base for the past couple of years, there's absolutely no way Nigel Pearson would be allowed 18 mediocre/bad months. We'd be on him.
Personally, I'm not a fan of this "known manager" or flavour of the month or bringing somebody back who did well before. It's basically how QPR have gone about appointing their managers and it doesn't work. JFH is mentioned on here after a good year or so with a settled Burton side. 18 months ago people were talking ion here about Steven Pressley at Coventry for similar reasons - since sacked by Coventry and now at Fleetwood. In the summer somebody on here said Jackie McNamara was a shout at Dundee Utd because of the youth, style of play etc - since sacked with Dundee Utd bottom of the league while spending the fourth biggest budget in the SPL.
What I'd want to see is a proper process gone through. An interview process. It's how we eneded up with Holloway - Steve Bruce and Dave Bassett were favourites for that but interviewed and Holloway interviewed better, we picked out things he'd done in similar circumstances at Bristol Rovers we liked.
I think it'll be Warnock with Derry, and there's something to say for that because it will at least get the crowd onside and they will get more time than an outsider would.
But interview a few candidates, see what they have to say. Don't just rush to appoint from a shortlist of one.
But overall it's not the manager that's the problem, as I've said many times before, so I don't see things improving anything more than short term when Ramsey does go. Results will pick up, everybody will go into 'told you so' mode, and a year or 18 months down the line it will all have gone to shit again. It always will while Fernandes is running this club.

Ramsey has Phillips & chery on the wings and still put in a Ray Harford esq performance against Fulham , I don't buy all of this bollox about our squad being rubbish either , stick a decent manager in and see where we go with this squad
