Your Coventry City v Queens Park Rangers Match Reports
Geoff78
added 09:58 - Feb 12
At the end of the match I thought it had been pretty even and Rs had chances to win it. But looking at some match stats Coventry shaded shots on target and passing accuracy and Nardi had to make more saves so perhaps Coventry shaded it. Still gutting to lose in the 95th minute from a corner when we'd failed to make best use of a succession of late corners.
I thought Sam Field drifted off his man which left Thomas with an easy header to win the game. Not a bad game from the Rs, but we lack a cutting edge and Frey's limitations are exposed against good defenders and he missed the best chance of the match. Lloyd was ineffective when he came on. This is of course still tons better than where we were earlier this season.
Colback was excellent showing control and passing a step up from Field and Varane and my MotM, but Nardi was also good for some excellent saves. What a relief to have a reliable keeper.
