Wolves Game
at 15:53 10 Mar 2025

When a team has won 2 games since August of last year can any game reasonably be described as very winnable?

Palace are 3rd in the form table of the last 6 games, winning 4, so f'k all chance of beating them!

Well I guess Juric has won 1 game in 10 so there's a chance he can win 1 more in the next 11 and we do have to play one of our fellow promotees so we could scrape 12 points.

Still, we will be relegated by 20+ points and if you really think the squad SR had assembled at the start of the season gave us a chance of staying up you are utterly deluded or know nothing about modern football.

Utter rubbish Nick. Any club in history can say if this happened, if that happened, etc they would be on 10 points more.

The reality is we have won two games since the season started in August and are on track not just to be the worst team in the PL (for the 2nd time in 3 seasons) but also the worst club in the history of the PL.

We are just very bad in all areas of the pitch. Our MF is painfully weak and has no PL quality in it and our striking options are/were laughably bad with the now departed Armstrong and Brerton and Shite Paul and the arrowless Archer. As I said just compare our squad to the next worst non promoted team in Wolves. They are light years ahead of us.

I'm not sure what you are trying to defend Nick? The owners as usual? It's a massive f'k up to have spent all the money they have and have the sub-standard squad we have.

There is no other reason for SR to be racking up their 2nd relegation in 2 PL seasons. It's laughable to try to pin it on bad luck and VAR.

"I would say that at the start of the season we had a squad capable of avoiding relegation, but not much more, but we weren't as bad as some would make out."

Utter rubbish Nick. We did not. Maybe we should have been closer to Leicester and Ipswich but nowhere near good enough to stay up. Look at the next worst squad to the promoted clubs, Wolves, and you can see the difference. They have a striker the CL clubs will be looking to sign in the Summer ffs.

Where was that being discussed?

I was talking about your assertion that 'pretty much the entire fanbase was up in arms at the time' when Adkins was sacked. Which is bollux.
