Vegard Forren was actually Norwegian and he never had a bad game for us. |

Yes. If he didn't play for us already, we would have the usual suspects on this forum suggesting that we pay £40m for him, as he is better than the central defenders we currently have. |

I don’t understand the obsession of having very tall centre backs who ‘might’ win more in the air (not having a go at Hoedt here!) , but look like bambi on ice when they have the ball at their feet. We already have quite a physical team compared to a couple of years ago, when we were on the small side, but actually managed to outplay more physical teams like Watford and WBA. I’d rather have somebody who was a leader, was very vocal and would organise the defence so that Cedric was not left marking the oppositions centre forward at set pieces. |

I can't see beyond Yoshida and Wesley Hoedt but I get nervous every time Hoedt is anywhere near the ball. Some have suggested Bertrand in the middle but I think that is unlikely. |

Lithuania means the 'land of rain' and when I was there it did all the time. Take a brolly. |

must have been a bit of a shock for the Arsenal players, having to listen to singing, applause and a bit of atmosphere. |

I remember West Brom also standing up to Peter Odemwingie, when he tried to force through a move to QPR by driving down to loftus road. I don't think either party benefitted by him staying, but well done to West Brom for making a stand. |

Hull conceded the most headed goals in the premier league last season. He's getting the same type of reviews that Steve Caulker used to get, before we actually saw him play. Would have been a big gamble for us in my opinion. |

I think Saint68 was closest (discounting predictions made after the exit poll) |

thanks. admire your dedication and hope that it is a lot closer than people expect (and I'm not generally a labour voter) |

72. When Birmingham Erdington is considered a possible upset, then Labour really is in trouble. |

Hopefully premier league will continue to investigate and mete out the appropriate punishment if found guilty. |

How do you know that you are not giving tory voters a lift to the polling station? or do they have to be paid up labour party members? serious question. |

Can't the club pay for some stunning woman (with a hat if need be) for the TV cameras to concentrate on, rather than the current bunch of painted losers. |
| Forum Reply | VvD could stay at 09:50 9 Feb 2017
As long as they don't offer us Lovren as part of the deal! |
| Forum Reply | Bed wetters challenge at 15:16 16 Dec 2016
I would prefer a target man like Haller, but suspect we will not go for one. my guess based on our current system of play is Berahino at a knock down 10m (is that stupid money nowadays?) |
