But to be fair none of the politicians care about us, it's all blather and self presrvation from them. Welsh Labour have been bad for Wales as much as any tory government. I can never vote for that berk Farage. |

Go on a diet then. |

The first bit, you have "bleated" about people disagreeing with you and made accusations about a "clique" and people ganging up on you, the evdience is there. "A wish for self determination" you say, they why do over half of Welsh voters never vote and did only 50.3% of the electorate vote yes to it in the original devo voten on a turnout of 50.22%, that means roughly only a quarter of the electorate wanted devolution. Now "stupidly" eh, lets see, maybe that is just your opinion but even so it is YOU being disparaging to other Welsh people and by the thousands too. Again, haven't you been asked to give the trust blather a break? |

Yes but we know that this last 12 months Levein and Kaplan were busy cutting costs. I'd like to know what the current deficit is? |

Corporations and investment funds are the problem. We need better tax laws for certain but when they are changed they tread softly on the global corporations because they are scared, so they say, of losing jobs. If Amazon and every other USA owned Corp. left the UK tomorrow somebody would step into that gap, maybe even smaller, local businesses again and in my opinion they are better for the economy and our lifestyles that global corporations and supermarkets. |

Opinions eh. Mine is that every penny wasted is just wasted whatever reasons are given. Save 75 million on this, save hundreds of millions on their funding by making them private citizens, open up ALL the royal properties to tourism, keep the pomp and ceremony for the tourists like other countries have done. When you are broke and looking for savings surely every penny counts? |

That's easy, not everybody likes the sensations caused by alcohol and/or drugs and there are people who don't have addictive personalities. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Addictive_personality |
| Forum Reply | Seventy Five million pounds for the Coronation at 17:46 22 Nov 2024
Maybe so but those emergency services personnel would be doing their normal jobs helping the public and not stationed close to where the ceremony is waiting, just in case. How many police will be out of their normal areas? At a time when we are short of police too. |

Do we still run a a 10 million loss? There have been a lot of cuts. What if reducing prices or making more offers actually increased turnover? |

That just further highlights your ignorance. Drink and drugs can be the force that makes people homeless but it is also something that homeless people turn to for comfort when they are forced to live on the streets, specially in the middle of winter. They turn to those substances to numb themselves against the cold and having to sleep on makeshift beds on concrtet witj some sleeping on little more than a few sheets of cardboard. If, through the course of your daily job you had seen some of the things I have seen then maybe you would have some more sympathy for homeless people. And by the way, homeless people also end up being a massive burden on us all because they are responsible for a lot of the low level crime like shop lifting which helps to force prices up. So whichever way you cut it tbey cost us money so why isn't it better to spend that money trying to help them sort their lives out. Seeing people inject themselves and then crash out in the stairwells of multi storey car parks, having to clean up after they have used them for toilets and/or vomitted up the stairs, seeing families have to traverse these places while people lay around stoned or take a leak with the urine running down around their kids feet...you really are clueless. It's a problem that needs solving, they need helping and not casting aside. |

A lot of our fans have never seen the really bad times. They weren't there to watch us battle against dropping to the conference, they weren't there before that to watch us fight from Div to the 1st and drop back again. A lot of our fans have only known relative success and being in the Championship still counts as relative success against where we were in the early 70's or in the early 2000's. The biggest difference these days is the ownership models, that's what affects fans the most. A lot of clubs these days are owned by foreigners with no links to the area or the club and when they do a bad job and show no interest in doing anything better the fans don't feel inclined to pay a lot of money and give their loyalty to these overseas, faceless people. |

The last line, a pipe dream but the rest, yes. Bellamy has been great and far, far better than Page. He has brought some pride, passion and belief back to the team. Page was overly cautious and negative which at times cost Wales dear. |

A proud Welshman does not insult his own people with salacious filth even in jest. Yet you insult other Welsh people, specially Swansea fans, all the time. A proud Welshman man does not want to hand back government back to London. A proud Welshman wants the best for his country and when the government is utterly rubbish a proud Welshman should stand up and say so not sit back and meekly, weakly accept the rubbish. A proud Welshman should defend his own language even if he is unable to speak it himself. That is your opinion, others are free to disagree and in a democracy you should respect their opinion. Especially if you want your opinions respected.. Now my turn, a proud Welshman doesn't have to depise all things English and will accept people wanting rid of the Senedd believing it's the best thing for his country, will accept people don't want to speak Welsh because it's a free world and won't call other Welsh people thick/slow/stone cold losers etc when they disagree with his opinions and then he won't moan like a baby when people have a go back. You do not walk what you talk. |

I thought a moderator had asked you to stop prattling on about the trust? Can you explain why the club breaking even means there wasn't a fire sale? Couldn't be that the fire sale got the club to the break even point? What you said is illogical. If you're not looking for anyone to blame, why do you keep singling the trust out? That was our plan this season, we have been to more away games than home games. Leeds this weekend levels it up. |
