I had a driving job not so long ago which took me over most of London. As I mentioned above, being in suburban West London and generally knocking around here, I’ve never had the need to travel too far.
My goodness, how our city has changed. Vauxhall has gone skywards. I had a delivery to flat 1205 - this is in one building. Brentford is heading upwards, central Croydon is a city within a city and so it goes on.
It works for some, I get that, but It’s not for me. Can’t stand it.
Must sling Battersea in there, as well. How on earth do people live like this?
It’s just horrible, isn’t it. The only way is up. One of the good things about our bit of suburban West London is that it’s not going double high rise in Hillingdon. Just a matter of time.
They deserved it because they went for it, so fair play. 50/50 first half, but we started the second in a very sloppy way. Very leggy in midfield and no cohesive link up play with Frey. One game too far over the last week or so.
Bannon should have got a clump. How many times has he done this to us, and he wasn’t at his best today. Good player.
