What a disaster, we were bloody awful last time out and for much of the second half today not much better, this should have been put out of Swansea's reach before the hour mark . Most were no doubt happy ( as I was) at half time with a team effort so much different to the wasted opportunity against Palace.
Content with a one goal lead it seems we made the game one that was there for the Swansea to take and with only fifteen to twenty minutes of real effort on their part they could have done and very nearly did.
On balance early on we probably deserved three points up until and when Zamora was substituted when we in effect played with ten men, Routledge's dismissal simply evened the status quo.
When Swansea lifted their tempo we failed to respond, overall 4 points from the last three games is an abject failure but that's all that can be expected by simply belting a long ball out of defense at every opportunity as is our current strategy( or lack of it) all to often . very disappointed, no game plan, not much on field leadership.

its almost a relief that's over, we all need a holiday.
Harriman had a very good game, well done , quite agree with Melaka re Zamora but frankly we have hardly had a forward worth his place this year with the exception of Remy, really sorry to see Townsend go.
Clint Hill solid performance most of the year and Ryan Nelson sorely missed. |

Harry's comments about the game are starting to make me wonder about his judgement, if he thinks spineless turnouts like this are acceptable then he can go with most of the second rate scivers that turned out for us this year,bloody disgraceful. |

We made Stoke look better than they are simply wth poor passing, shooting from a long range and failing to hold the ball in the middle again. The truth is we dont have the talent to stay in the PL and never have had. I hope the sell off starts soon and a young side built around two -three outstanding youngsters is the way we go even if it takes an extra year or so to get back . |

Another heartless display from a group who look like they have never trained together, dont like each other and cant get home quick enough, no wonder Harry's angry - isnt everyone?
In truth we were probably too far gone by the end of January and a change of attitude was going to be as important as a change of players,we got the players but no change in determination,pride or the guts to have a go.
I cant watch anymore, dont want to-its depressing. |

Strong sentiments maybe but not based on one match,I have doubed BZ's commitment and desire to play for us for some time, disinterest is the term that springs to mind most often in his case.
Taarapt is the most frustrating player we have had since Stan used to wander round looking for lost betting tickets, but not in the same class and the amount of times he wastes the ball is not compensated often enough with good moves or great goals to make him valuable in my book.
That said I would love to have to eat my words some time soon, your last line may well be true if he wants to play. |

I felt sick when Mbia clattered into Mahoney, you could see what was coming, i think the loss of Zamora was a killer blow that we did well to recover from and there were some good performances out there today.
We have made ( and ruined) our own luck this year, there are few occasions when we weren't responsible for our own demise and today was no exception.
Personally i dont care if Zamora and Taarabt are never seen in our colours again, Townsend is a star and Bosingwa is rehabilitated. |

We have not done well in any "winnable" game this year and I cant see any hope of that changing, we'll be playing at Griffen park next year by the looks of things. |

Good to see Traore continuing to improve, Cesar was brilliant and the new boys contibuted well.

Stephane Mbia could end up as a cult figure, huge effort from him today and some interesting characteristics.
Overall a fairly disappointing first half (again)whatever Harry has been saying at half time needs to be said before the game, good to see SWP getting back to some reasonable form and Hill & Mackie as usual put in a decent shift, I thought we deserved at least a point and all three would not have been "nicked"
Foy (and assistants) were dreadful throuout which I find unusual for him, he's fairly solid as a rule.

Not much to be encouraged about after another sub-standard display, defended Ok at times but failed to hold the ball in the middle and I dont think we were able to really worry Tim Krul at all. Nelsen is the most consistant performer in the team and Mbia puts in a decent effort but the rest are not showing enough to play league one. The reasons for playing Granero and Ferdinand are not obvious but the reasons to move them on in january are, along with Bosingwa, Cisse and Park if anyone will take them. |

As others have noted the loss of Traore changed the game, the performance of Derry , Mackie, Faurlin and Hill cannot be ignored they put some heart and backbone back into the team. Taarabt is not my favourite but none the less he is a tryer of late and his frustation is evidence of his will to win and lack of solid support.
Big Job for Harry to keep us up I fear, but I have some hope now where I had none last week. |

Agree with Melaka on Taarabt, Bosingwa frustrates the life out of me he gives the ball away so often and I doubt the chairmans "total support" speech will feature again for the current managment group. I'd like to see us get Raheem Stirling back or someone of similar talent and age and build a team round them, to many playing for their retirement to do QPR any good at the moment. |

I reckon Doughnut & Bill are on the money, how the hell does anyone think we can survive this critical year, clubs trying to get back up and stay up next year have no hope. we're in big trouble and "loyalty"to a hopeless management team is not going to save Tony's millions or QPR. we're dogged by poor selections, ineffective game plans and a total lack of application by management during the game. the players seem to lack interest or motivation most of the time ( with a few exceptions) no wonder they get boo-ed off at half time.
Frustrated? dead right I am, for Christ sake even Brentford are starting to look interesting. |

I cant believe SWP got a start, no room for Faurlin? The change up front came far too late Zamora looks lazy a lot of the time.
Cesar, Nelson & Mackie gave it everything as did Granero but he was lucky not to go off.finding it difficult to have faith in the mangement team despite a good last 5 minutes or so. |
