Football isn't for people who want to identify as a unicorn. |

Thanks all, looks like the days of letting the kids sit on your lap are gone, fair enough though. I shall enquire about a ticket. Given the performance so far I don't know why I should give them my money but there we are, let's try to stay positive, try. |
| Forum Thread | Taking my youngest on Boxing Day? at 13:47 17 Dec 2016
Hi All, I'm looking for a bit of advice, I'm planning to take my youngest girl (4) to watch against West Ham, my oldest girl (8) will be with us too and we both have season tickets, but how/can I get my youngest in on my ticket and sitting with me? Do I simply just carry her through the turnstile with me? Thanks in advance. |
| Forum Reply | Next Swansea City captain at 19:53 21 May 2015
The first name I thought of when reading this post was Jack Cork, however the Captaincy could be just what Mr Shelvey needs to keep focussed, it worked for Rooney who is a similarly passionate player. |

I'll elaborate on point 6. It makes no financial sense to throw money at every part of the club and it's infrastructure. We need steady year on year progress on and off the field to be sustainable. Does that help you digest my point? |

Really? Go on then, expand on this........ |
| Forum Reply | New Swansea City stadium at 23:35 18 May 2015
Let's all calm down whilst i run through some obvious points: 1) The will be no new Stadium. 2) The expansion will go ahead. 3) But it won't happen until after next season at the earliest. 4) In relative terms, we do not have deep pockets. 5) Swans / Ospreys attendances are non comparable, different demographic, too many live games etc.. 6) Let's not forget who we are, we could be back in the Championship in 12 months time and talks of stadium expansion, new grounds and throwing money around like nobody's business will make us sound naive. Keep things in perspective you crazy lot. [Post edited 18 May 2015 23:53]

Perhaps if our support keeps up the good behaviour, then the squad may come within 20 feet of the fans on their celebratory lap and we won't see the lame excuse of a lap they provided today? |

I've had to read through 6 pages of comments about a lad who has taken a picture of his penis and it had found its way onto the internet. 1. Who cares? 2.Why do you care so much? 3. Please stop getting offended on other peoples behalf. 4. This is not unusual. 5. This happens all the time. 6. Go and cut the grass. 7. That shelf wont put itself up. 6. Please go back to hating Cardiff/Garry Monk/Bafe Gomis*** *** please delete as the mood takes you. |
| Forum Reply | They stand among us! at 13:37 19 Mar 2015
I am the OP and agree that its gone a bit wonky. My original point was there are too many Swans fans who also support other Premier league teams and are not afraid to show it. Personally I don't care who you support as long as when you pay to see Swansea, you support Swansea. I guess this is similar for all of us, that most of our classmates grew up supporting Man Utd, Liverpool and Leeds and then supported Swansea as their "local" side, believing we would never amount to anything. But now we are in the big time, they have bought season tickets, they support us but when their team come to town, they want them to win over Swansea. Maybe you who are reading this now are in that same situation? Just keep it to yourself on match days please and we'll all get along just fine. |
