Di Matteo 09:07 - Nov 21 with 3576 views | Jamie | Wins the sack race. Poor old Hughes can't win a fcking thing this year.
Di Matteo on 13:16 - Nov 21 with 543 views | Match82 | Would take RDM in a heartbeat. Did a good job at West Brom (quoting one paragraph from Wikipedia about his last month in charge doesn't change my mind) and a good job at the end of last year with Chelsea. More up to date with Premiership football than Rafa, who seemed out of touch even when he was here (just my perspective) and never quite got to grips with the league, although as his record shows achieved a lot in the cups. Better than any of the other candidates mentioned IMO, and I don't care about the Chelsea connection. If it meant a guarantee of us staying up this year, I'd be fine with them winning the league and Champions League double.

After reading through the link, my question id would he fit? The next question is can he coach? I think he can. Interesting to see this development as I think Harry vs RDM is a big gulf in terms of style.

Di Matteo on 16:49 - Nov 22 with 452 views | TacticalR | A fairly detailed account of why Chelsea got rid of Di Matteo (with some discussion about the effect Chelsea's match with QPR had at Chelsea): http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/failure-to-forge-uniq It's good because it presents the pros and cons of Di Matteo. Ironically the very reason they got rid of him (adapting the side to play in different circumstances) was probably the thing that won them the Champions League. [Post edited 1 Jan 1970 1:00]

Di Matteo on 16:57 - Nov 22 with 442 views | TGRRRSSS | The Times does a good piece and ultimately saYS THE RDms sacking in itself isn't anywhere near the stupidist decision RA made it's just all the overs as an accumalative effect. Oliver Kay describes them as a "basketCase" who condict their affairs with "all the class of Katie Price"

Di Matteo on 10:08 - Nov 21 by toboboly | Playing Football Manager 05, doing quite well however trying to keep QPR in the Premiership is a nightmare. Still won more games than Hughes. |
Our luck is just unbelievable. As a life long non believer I am beginning to wonder if we are cused. Just when it seemed Rafa might be a runner,Chelsea sack their manager & snap up our man. Personally I would welcome Di Matteo at this time as he must be seething with anger over his treatment & will be happy to join a club which also hates the racists. Despite some comments on this site I think he has the makings of a good manager and did well in his short time at the scums place.
| At my age I should not be doing this! |
