Noticed Mackie, after getting a sly dig, tearing into SWP at the Wigan game. Truth is, the new intake looks down its nose at the players who got us promoted, well wise up lads cos you ain't better than 2010/11 and you certainly haven't got their backbone.
Luke Young, doing his sideways dance, Taiwo/Gabbidon, do ANY of these players ever put a foot in? Reason we barely conceded last season was Orr/Hill/Connolly/Gorks not giving anyone a moment on the ball.
One chance of us staying up and thats if every one of the new signings gets a pair of gonnads like last seasons team. I am not holding my breath.

I cannot see WIgan avoiding relegation. And Wolves have to find a manager who can't even sign anyone although the new mananger 'bounce' is a worry. And although Blackburn aren't actually playing too badly at points, the fact is they are in turmoil and could implode anytime, especially if Yak gets injured. And,as for Bolton, surprised they lost to Wigan because I've always thought Coyle is a top manager and they haven't got a bad squad, but even we beat Wigan!
So basically, we haven't got a clue how these teams are going to perform over the rest of the season, all we can do is start winning games. We've 2 home games coming up after a fortnight break and Hughes has 2 weeks to sort them out. Those 2 games will define our future I think. Minimum of 4 points and we're still in the game. Nil points and it's all over. |  |
