Dale have their eye on Flitcroft on 12:09 - Jan 9 by Brierls | Mr Dunphy has said its Beech's job to lose. The bit about Beech being appointed until the end of the season seems to have stemmed from a 'Sky Sports understands..' story, there has been nothing official as far as I'm aware. |
Alternatively, is their a split in our Boardroom?

Dale have their eye on Flitcroft on 09:36 - Jan 11 with 827 views | SuddenLad | Seems as though Flicker is annoyed at the very suggestion of being linked with the job. It couldn't be clearer: http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11765/7422303/

I think the headline is a strange one, as it does make it sound as is Flicker is angry. The statement itself actually sounds like he could be interested if Barnsley were going to be happy to let him go but obviously they won't be.

'Flitcroft Slams Dale Berth' The word 'slams' suggests a hint of pique.

If you read what he is quoted as saying there is no annoyance. In fact as ATP says "the statement itself actually sounds like he could be interested if Barnsley were going to be happy to let him go but obviously they won't be". Typical journalism -using a (probably inaccurate) headline to make something out of nothing

If the headline is at fault, then the sub/web editor is to blame, not the journalist.
