Yes. Just about to leave. Breakfast in Tudors in Llandovery, then I need to go to B&Q. Then watch us beat West Brom.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

This isnāt naivety. Heās done it twice. He would have known full well not to do it in the first place and then Iām sure would have had stern words before the Portsmouth game. My guess is he was under the impression it was happening and something has changed since.
To clarify to date on 08:02 - Jan 4 with 1508 views | RichardO | Don't think he covers himself in glory in the last interview, after an apology did he lay the blame for the defeat against Portsmouth firmly on the players again? Without his fixed starting eleven on the pitch the team is struggling and even then if we are put under pressure we struggle to keep control of game against even against lesser teams, but for a number of games we are grinding out results. He and we know the team has struggled with numbers, injuries to players who would possibly strengthen the team. Even the first eleven Eom, Ronald, Cullen struggle defensively but are trying to get to grips with how to play in our third, same could be said of Key and Tymon given the various roles they are expected to play which does impact our defensive shape which has been exploited seemingly at will. And yet how many of us were complaining after the two home wins and if we get a win today will be happy with a good return over the festive period. Thing destabilise the team, managers comment, selections, players played in unfamiliar positions, missing injured players, seemly wrong players brought in during the season as we scrap the barrel of non contracted players, players bought with injury issues, players struggling to get up to a standard, fringe players who aren't in the starting in the preferred eleven not performing when selected. Thing are not good at the club and haven't been for a while a number of players seem to have come to the end of the usefulness with the club and need to be replaced or removed, loanees not used or not fitting in, returned them to their clubs while returning some of ours if we are still balancing the book to an extent, we need both attacking and defensive midfielders would Congreve and Cotterill be a better fit than what we have if only to come on as bit players in the short term initially , add a number of better choice signings if possible, the squad may be in a better place than it is now. I don't know if Congreve and Cotterell are the answer, neither have been pulling up trees with their loans two leagues below us. Congreve has been subbed early in the second half lately and in their last game was on the bench and didn't get on. Cotterell has been getting a bit more game time but he is in an inferior team and not standing out. Personally I think league two is their level. Nothing to be ashamed about and still a decent level, we were there for years, but they are not the answer to our problems in my opinion. EDIT Mitchell Bates has joined Truro until the end of the season. [Post edited 4 Jan 8:28]

You may be right but is a loan down a division or two of divisions a good way to get youngsters up to speed at the level we want them at? The thinking of, if they are good enough they will bring the standard of the club they are loaned to could for some players be flawed instead of improving them it could drag them down in level with the poor quality of players around them, thought part of the thinking of loans of younger was to get them use to the senior teams playing environment and physicality. Surely one the best way to learn to be a better player is to be on the pitch with better players and gain experience off them. Remember Congreve coming on as a sub and looking a handful even watched a couple u21 cup games at the end of last season in an advanced midfield role he looked as if he could create space, he did play as a lone striker in one game and was totally ineffective and moved in the second half, did think the defensive side of his game was poor, did track back with players but didn't get goalside and was caught out of position. Cotterill seemed to play in a controlled way but didn't add a faster tempo to the games I saw. Can they learn from the Championship players and have the confidence to put what they learn into practice. We have seen what the building of confidence can do to players even to top player that belief in themselves and urge to be better than others has to be there and encouraged.

Get the impression that he feels he needs to entertain and fill gaps in conversation and falls foul of not thinking through his comments. It seems if you ask an awkward question he ends up saying far more than he needs to, "light the blue touch paper and stand well back", springs to mind. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I donāt get that impression at all. He knew exactly what he was doing. Tried to force a move and it backfired. Unfortunately, the club suffers as a result. Take a look at the thread on his comments at Notts County. Heās got form.

This 100%, I can't believe that Williams is that naĆÆve to believe that Coleman and especially majority of fans believe what he has said plus its taken him a week to come out with a statement it seems obvious that he was holding his cards close to his chest until he had to say something,

Are you surprised at about a manager trying to deflect questions while trying to engineer a move away to greener pastures and doing it badly. Whatever he had planned don't think the form in certain games helps him in any way, you have to question is he up to the job if he stays and form take an upturn then it will only help him leave earlier if the chance arrives again. We have seen ambitious managers move on, some before they have learnt to walk.

If the players are behind him then we may see a performance and a commitment from them that we didn't see from the Portsmouth game.

To clarify to date on 12:25 - Jan 4 with 745 views | Daggyjack | Keep him for the January window to ensure continuity / harmony to bring in the players we want / need and then get rid. If certain board members aren't happy with LW and some of the players are struggling too, then it will only take a short run of bad results for LW to be moved on, IMO.

Tend to agree with you here. So, do you think it was more of a mis-speak, than that he thought he was getting a new job? I do.
