Writing Is On The Wall 08:21 - Nov 6 with 837 views | NorthantsHoop | There is no redemption from the performance last night, a team without fight and basically outplayed has very little chance of surviving in this league. This season probably time has run out and League 1 beckons.

If it means we just get beat week after week but by a different set of teams, so be it. We’ve found it impossible to rebuild in the Championship over 10 years, it’s too much of a grind to risk any meaningful transition. League One, League Two, somewhere it’ll eventually turn round, but not in this Division.

Good points, fundamentally we are a 2nd tier side based on our history of the last 50 years, but we are now at a point where we can't keep pace in the 2nd tier, it has been that way since Warburton left. He found a way to push us on to sort of mid table, I know there was all this no plan b stuff and money wasted on a top 6 push, but we were competitive and the team had focus. Now for the last 3 seasons we look beat, recruitment is bizarre, we are a bit like Ipswich of a few seasons back just not at the races and able to hold our own at this level. I have prepared myself for Northampton Town away next season.
