I go to see the R’s several times a year - but I am like an albatross when it comes to seeing them picking up three points. The last time I saw them win was Ian Holloway’s first game back as manager, when they beat Naaarch 1-0 at Loftus Road about 8 years ago. I’m going to see the R’s on Tuesday night. What odds on me seeing them finish winning a rare 3 points?

By which one?

Us to win.

Or Dembelé at 5.50 to get an assist.

Dembele in central position it seems. With Smyth wide that hopefully means we have the pace upfront. If they play well and Chair sit in on this one (geddit?) there will be no excuses for Celar now.

Lets see if Varane can help Field out in the centre as with that forward line they only have to protect the defence and feed the forward line.

If they manage to sort out, with Saito and LLoyd to come, it looks okay. But as we have seen at the weekend, Charity Park Rangers are back!

Smyth can have all the pace in the world, but there’s no end product. He’ll definitely get a chance, he usually does when he starts, it’s whether he can finish it for once.

Go on Brian, go on Brian!

Could envisage nothing but a loss on Saturday but tonight I am more hopeful. Statistically we fare better with JCS in the side, Chair and Paal linking up well, Smyth's pace, Dembele's trickery, I think we shall get something tonight.

4 changes to Saturday tells its own story. JCS a welcome returnee. Adds some composure to central defence and enables Dunne to revert to right back. Time for Varane to step up. Frey an obvious miss, here's hoping Celar can grab his opportunity.

Don’t mind that team tbh. Fingers crossed we get something from the game.

Me neither, though the midfield has to function for it to work. With no Frey to hold the ball up and the diminutive Chair, Dembele, and Smyth supporting Celar, passing will need to be sharp and incisive.

Why not?
The guy had a terrible game but he has been a reliable player up till then.
If he was match fit I’d rather he played left back ahead of Paal to be honest.

Agree. He had a nightmare on Saturday, but it is best to "get back on the horse" ASAP for both our sakes. He did score against this mob as well👍

Grasping at straws a bit here, but Celar has mostly come on late in the game when we are invariably chasing. Maybe just maybe playing from the start when the game is more composed, we can play him in better positions with, as you say, more precise and decisive passing.

We are all grasping at straws...so why not? Could be the making of Celar if he gets that first goal.

It could work unless the defence decide to just lump it up in the air to Celar. Play it on the ground and use the pace in the side to get behind them.

Dunne’s back at right back so I’ve gone all in on crazy bets involving him getting booked, scoring etc.

If Jimmy has a good game I’m going to be rich

Come on Rangers give us a game to remember, we all need it

This is it for Celar, a start under the lights at LR. Opportunity for him to show he's worth the investment. If he powder puffs his way through this game, then there's no helping him.

So much hinges on Varane suddenly showing a different player in there....

Especially as we appear to be up against a 5 man midfield.

I have heard rumours of such.

Anyone got a nice little stream with Sints on it?

1st minute. Nardi rolls it out to our LB, space in front to move into. Instead plays back to Gk.

Our problem magnified in one moment.
