missed last year-not confident but hopeful
is boris competing with trump to be biggest asshole running a western democracy?
whilst not as obviously blatantly disgusting as trump-and whilst retaining boyish blonde locks-(as opposed to toxic orange wig)-boris is becoming daily more imbecilic-ruining uk university enrollment(at least trump never had higher education)
there are good conservative mps-and bad labour ones
but really-wtf is going on with this conservative govt
can boris be impeached?for basically being an idiot?
i think a good nos of conservaitive mp may support that possibility

Im hoping the hapless jerk effectively closes down Christmas. He doesn't like doing unpopular things though as well as facing people face to face

We don't have to punish him for being an idiot. I'm sure something will turn up one dy soon to enable a sacking or force him to quit.

The smell around No10's refurbishment won't go away. that was probably why he tried to shut down the independent standards panel. he's worried they'll come after him and find something punishable.

I'm as certain as I can be that many MP's are breaching the rules, the standards, it's just a matter of having the resources to go after them. After the expenses scandal many other MP's should have been locked up too. They got away with a bit of scapegoating ther I reckon.
If there was ever a time when we saw total cross party cooperation it was the expenses scandal. They had each others backs, apart from the unlucky few who got thrown to the lions.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Check out the current rates on the map, link below. For the life of me I can't understand how the majority of England has lower rates than Wales. Then look at the London area with a higher BAME percentage than the rest of the country, presumably not with the vaccine uptake and they currently have the lowest case rate in the UK. It does make you think if herd immunity is the answer and not what Drakeford is trying to do.

His relaxing xmas last year saw many unnecessary deaths and covid go rampant and for why.
So he could be seen as one "saving" Christmas. He makes me vomit .
The man is gutless, without shame .

A man to headbutt ,for sure.

The overall vaccination rates between England and Wales are very similar so your argument is blown out of the water. London is a separate case altogether.

You are right about the smell around the refurbishment of Number 10, there's defo something going on and Boris has tried to close things down with a preemptive strike. The difference between the Ministerial code and MP code is a farce too, it can't be right that those holding the real power are actually subject to less scrutiny and don't have to provide detail re the value etc.

The detail of every benefit must be fully disclosed. Imagine we had top cops taking £25k per night holidays off 3rd parties - there'd been an enormous outrage at the fact they took a holiday yet alone a £25k pn holiday!

Our MP's should be subject of a Code of Conduct administered by an impartial and independent regulator, by all means have an appeals mechanism but that would have to comprise of independent panel members whose integrity is beyond reproach. I am thinking about retired judges, moral's experts from academia, ex police, ex military etc.

No need to call your hero Mr Drakeford that. I thought the age of nasty politics was over.

Poll: Sholud Wales rollout vaccination at full speed.

fingers crossed for welsh xmas on 07:36 - Nov 11 with 1035 viewsDr_Winston

Rates beginning to skyrocket everywhere else in Europe except the UK where they're falling.

Wales is far more likely to be locked down by Drakeford, who is still talking about restrictions when case rates have been declining for weeks.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Case rates may have been lowered because of half term, what are they like now?

Thank you.

So cases are down in Wales by 8.9% and down in my local area by 13.3%.

The schools have raised Covid rules again though so maybe that's helping?

Let's hope people are sensible and stay safe whatever the day or time of year.Christmas is just another day in the calendar.
I'd hate anyone to set aide a date for a funeral because Christmas was seen as THAT special .

Don't hype it up,
Don't wate money
Don't be led by commercial pressures

Look forward to a better new year instead
