It’s with a very heavy heart but I think somebody has to say it...the only way we will get Bottomley and this inept manager out of the Club is to refuse to purchase season tickets, otherwise we are funding their wages. The renewing of BBMs contract was the equivalent of putting two big fat fingers up to all of the Supporters, well it’s time the Supporters returned the compliment!

If he’s still here this time next year James the club will be staring non league football in the face.
We will be on the brink of folding anyway if that happens.

I am not related to any of them. Im just saying the board have control of the press office and various social media feeds. They have already said in 'good times' they can't bankroll the club, what are the chances of them doing so during a boycott and if someone is the narcisssist people make them out to be how likely are they going to step down?

Will make this plea once, and hopefully once only, can we please try not to create any sort of divide in the fanbase. There will be very few people who are defending anything that’s going on now.

Please can we think of one another and actually channel our individual responses in the best way we see fit. This has proven to have made progress in the last week or two and the club know they have a requirement to respond to supporters. Nobody should feel shamed into doing something they aren’t comfortable with.

Sadly, this is my last season. Calling it a day after 40 odd years. All my enthusiasm has been drained out of me in the last few seasons and this one has broken me and my Dale addiction

Totally agree with this

Which is why i've posted on the thread started (first) by dawlishdale, which gives a different perspective - not calling for a boycott but looking squarely in the face the cost to the club of continuing with the current regime

The CEO is about to have a relegation on his CV.

If he and the current Board feel they cannot do the the job any longer then they should nobly step aside and allow the Dunphy consortium the opportunity.

If you've watched the Dale since 1968 then you'll know we've never been a non-league club.

We are sinking like a stone. Look at Southend.

Nobody is trying to create any divide, if people want to buy a season ticket then they will, that would please the CEO very much and help to keep him in his job. The season ticket money needs to be utilised by Chris Dunphy and his board of Directors not this bunch of clowns who we currently have running the club...a club with zero leadership who only want to communicate when it comes to supporters parting with their money. There has been no progression over the last few weeks and your constant mantra that the club has a responsibility to respond to supporters has been proven to be wrong so many times and you know it. If you are thinking that they will feel some sort of guilt or under pressure because the Supporters Trust have asked them a few questions you must be deluded, they aren’t bothered what the supporters think and treat the Trust like something they’ve picked up off the bottom of their shoe, that’s the reality of the situation.

I feel exactly the same, been watching for almost 40 years and have decided I can live without it. It's too expensive and time consuming for very little return. The club has become a joke, the manager is inept and the 'running' of the club is nothing more than amateurish. There's not a single person involved with a pair of balls.

There is no constant mantra. There is a process. Supporters need to be informed of what the situation is, this has so far happened with the excellent work by Fitzo and the subsequent response from CD to supporters questions.

I am fully aware of the flaws of not following such a process properly.

Please do not resort to assuming what I may or may not be thinking or what level of delusion I may be at (I’m fully aware of my own faults!). This is exactly what my previous post refers to.

Maybe crowd funding could be setup, once season ticket prices are announced those who aren't going to renew but can afford to could donate that money to CD's takeover fund, proof of donation gets season ticket(s) when the board room takeover is complete.

I feel for you lads and I don't want to see Dale go down but its looking more likely by the week that you will but boycotting season tickets isn't the answer, the past two seasons have been financially horrific for football clubs and Dale aren't any different, they will be looking to get some much needed funds coming in to pay overdue bills ect and keep the wolf from the door and with nobody coming through the turnstiles for another four months at least it might finish them off, things are looking bad now but they could be worst

Giving supporters a series of options going forward would be a positive move. At the moment I’m really unsure how the club could even begin to think about selling season tickets with the uncertainty and the levels of fear and upset amongst fans.

The requirement for last year’s and this year’s AGM is still there too.

Is that an initiative that could be administered by the Trust as both a legal entity and a shareholder in the club?

Giving your money to the Trust instead of the Club will mean it will end up at Dale, just controlled by the Trust.

Quite a statement - if we sold 1,000 season tickets at £200 a ticket for the Trust to hold £200,000 from those ST holders who would prefer not to renew under the current leadership.

There is an immediate option available, chalky, which is to agree to the immediate return to the board of our former chairman, who would form a new board comprising a former director, 2 new fan directors and possibly some of the existing board.

Again, Chalky, with all due respect, it’s up to individuals and whilst you have a valid argument so does the route for anyone who decides against buying a ST.

There has to be a proper plan though. There also needs to be total transparency because aside from what’s going on and off the pitch, there’s a nagging fear about what we don’t actually know.

Thats about where I am, I can't believe after all the years of genuine absolute shite we've watched and struggling to compete, we have literally lay down and took relegation without a single fight in us, its embarrassing and most folk at the club should be fooking disgusted with themselves, reality is they won't give a monkeys and some other desperate place will offer them further employment.

As much as I detest painting fence panels that was exactly what I did during the full duration of todays match such was my interest (or not), there's definitely a million and one better things to be doing with my time off rather than waste money at the club.

Although it doesn’t have to be exactly this. This is indeed a plan and one that could be worked on allowing people to make a balanced decision based on information provided; of which we’ll hopefully get a lot more of.

That wouldn't happen immediately though would it judd and Dale need immediate funds, giving the money to the trust sounds an interesting idea if it could be worked out but there's no quick fix solution I suppose
