Roy Jones Jnr v Tyson 16:41 - Nov 25 with 926 views | onehunglow | This Saturday Just read the rules of this "fight" which is 8 x 2min rounds. Any knock down/injury/cut ends the fight which is really IMO nothing more than Mike Tyson seeking to heal himself of his past demons . Why Jones is doing it beats me. This guy was a great of all time and was fighting until 2018 but he will be 3 stone lighter and his hand speed will have diminished. It could end badly for Roy .Very badly. Tyson 54.Jones 51.Just wtf.

Jones was so far past his prime. Joe was also on the slide but was far too fresh for Jones. A prime Jones would have been levels above Calzaghe. At 168 or 175. Same with a prime Hopkins. I say that as a Calzaghe fan.

They hid from Joe, Hopkins was said to have agreed a fight with Joe and then seen videos of how good Joe was and then came back the next day and asked for double the money. Were the American boxers juiced is a question often asked ?, is that why they did not travel (apart from South America wasn't it?). Calzaghe was nearer retirement when he went over there and beat the pair of them than both Hopkins and Jones. I don't buy the Yankee hype, Joe was special, so special that if things had turned out differently then he could have been regarded as one of the best all time, starting with if he had been in the Olympics. Being an old fecker,I d say Hearns would have knocked him out,Steve Collins worn him down and if other multiple weight champions included ,Robinson,Monzon and Hagler would,IMO, beaten JC.

Collins put his belt in the bin rather than fight Joe as Collins knew Joe would have beat him.

Boxing is all about opinion and it's dumb to compare from former eras BUT ,in by gone days Joe would have been a large middle weight as there was no 12 stone limit as that would have been light heavy

Levels above, what an uneducated comment, not saying Calzaghe would have beaten him but as good as Jones was he had some really hard fights in his prime against fighters who were not as good as Calzaghe, Hopkins being one of them, both were world class, and Jones never fought anyone with the hand speed of Calzaghe and Calzaghe had the better chin thats for sure, so Jones may have been the favorite but no way would it have been a foregone conclusion.

Monzon, Hagler, would have been an handful, Hearns maybe, but may have been to small, but dont get how you come to the conclusion that Collins who did not have many stoppages to his name against world class fighters could have worn down a fighter who was much faster, more skilled had an excellent chin who never got stopped.

Yep total farce, Tyson has been easily stopped in his last two fights, and Jones was knocked out cold against our own Enzo Maccenelli in his last proper pro fight, there is a youtuber fighting on this card and its kids who love this guy on youtube, as well as clueless boxing casuals who are the one`s are paying the ppv for this shizer by all accounts.
