Extended Lockdown in Leicester on 23:52 - Jun 29 with 2052 views | DannyPaddox | So the pubs open Saturday in the rest of the country but Leicester will be locked down? What are the chances it’s Leicester’s annual I Need My Eyes Tested Day and every fcuker decides to drive to the nearest heritage site/ Wetherspoons outside the City limits?

Ashby De La Zouch. Has a midlands town ever sounded more like a QPR loan player circa 2006?

Extended Lockdown in Leicester on 13:04 - Jun 30 with 1842 views | paulparker | If your not going to have roadblocks in and out of Leicester like they did in Spain and parts of France when they had a lockdown then what’s the point of this as no one really gives a Sh1t
| And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

Extended Lockdown in Leicester on 15:05 - Jun 30 with 1723 views | slmrstid | I've just spent some of my lunchtime on my bike. The roads have gone absolutely dead again around the city. Lots of unhappy people (including me, but I fully confess to having a bit of a sulk on), regardless of if these extra measures are fully justified or not - still seems to be a bit of a battle between city hall and Government about data being shared. Some absolutely cracking gallows humour amongst people, including a brilliant spoof video of the glass dome in the Simpsons video being dropped so I've quite enjoyed seeing those at least. The bit thats most concerning is for all the local small business who are having to shut again, and under current rules aren't able to re-furlough staff. If the Government don't do something about that, and this goes on more than the initial 2-3 weeks in place, it could be carnage. Life in a leper colony! Something I never thought I'd live through in my lifetime... *EDIT* - sorry in advance Clive if this is another thread detracting from the Corona thread. I'll not comment anymore on this one if you'd rather it all be in the main thread again! Just replying as its already been started :) [Post edited 30 Jun 2020 15:07]

Thanks Danny, crazy times we live in. After announcing a lockdown at 9pm last night, it wasnt confirmed until 9.30am this morning the exact lockdown zones, nor what was being locked down on, other than shops being made to close. This afternoon I got an email from the council which included this line:- "Please do not meet people from other households to socialise, even outdoors" The Gov.UK page for changes in Leicestershire ( https://www.gov.uk/government/news/leicestershire-coronavirus-lockdown-areas-and says this:- "people are still able to meet in a group of up to 6 and only outdoors, provided strict social distancing is followed" What hope have we got of getting through lockdowns with minimum fuss if the Government and Local Authority are issuing completely contradictory instructions? Anyway, got my stream up and running, come on you R's!

What about their players? Are there any that live in the affected area and will therefore be locked down?
