So how could Carlisle fill half (19.5 sections) when they only ventured round to the 18 yard box, less 2 for Club Wembley so around 15 sections x 850 =12,750 if all sold. My 14,000 was generous
44 blocks in total, you have taken an extra circa 2.5 blocks, leaving them 19.5 blocks. 784 seats average per block. Do the maths.

MLT took over 5,000 in his celebrity lounge but that doesn't count.
When the two clubs are in the same division, there is little difference, but when comparing the stats in the top league Pompey have a 2,500 and more average attendance. 2,500+ per game is a wide margin and proves that Pompey are the bigger club.

Look forward to seeing the proof that Pompey have been watched by, depending on your sources, between 1m-2.6m less people than Saints in our histories due to them owner falsifying attendances for 50 years like was claimed the other day.

You put in a reference the other day. An awful lot of info is on that page if you care to look.
For instance, on league games there is actully a 800,000 difference (minus your cheating figures as per Freedom of Information requests), and on FA cup games it is a small 70k difference over 100 years in total. Therefore on FA cup games, Pompey clearly have the higher averages as we have had fewer games. The big comparative difference in total gate is for the League Cup games where Pompey have always been shiiite, and have played less than half of the Soton total.

The owner was more interested in the Basketball team, hence the low crowds and the reason we were relegated.

Sorry, unless i missed it i dont think you provide proof of that how your figures are so much lower due to you chairmen falsifying attendances. You even put a time frame on it so surely you must be able to back it up.

Yep, that's just what i said earlier!
Your club have been in a higher division for more seasons, been a better run club, had more England Internationals, been less corrupt, been cheating the attendance figures etc
But over a hundred years, there is very little between the two teams, despite the fact the Pompey owners have undoubtedly been taking money from the club for years.
It sounds like your club has more glory hunters than ours.
It's a bit like your seasons of over 30k average attendances. I have proved that most of them are fake, but they still remain in the records books. Pompey have probably had had 10 30k seasons to your solitary season, but I can't prove it.

Add the min 300 seats segregation, no way could attendance be more than 89,600.(generous) So the official attendance of 89,974 is definitely a made up figure, your words

Still doesn't explain why your fans abandoned their team in their best season in decades.
Or are you saying that the most passionate and loyal fans in the world turned their back on their team, when they were in their best season for decades because the city had a successful basketball team for a short time?
