It looks like a disagreement led to a Welsh fan being hurt after a falling out with another Welsh Fan. No reports it was club rivalry related.

Football always attracts morons. Shame; it'd be nice if we could undo some of this tribalism so that, for example a Crapduff fan could sit in the home end at WBA wearing colours with his WBA supporting missus without the club fearing he'll have the sh*t beaten out of him.
Club tribalism (if this is that - it's just as likely to be too much beer) should be left at the door, and so should national tribalism. Support your side when in the ground of course, but there's no need to take running battles out onto the streets. In fairness, Wales are pretty good with behaviour when travelling - they seem to get on well with locals wherever they go. All the time. If I go I get the earliest possible train back. Was smacked in the face getting off the train from Reading when Wales lost to Samoa in 1999-was just visiting family and some meathead just punched me in the face. Never been physically hit in nearly 40 years watching the Swans. been threatened only twice-Ninian Park and the Hawthorns. I am not counting the annual coining at NP in the old Grange End in the 80s.
