I thank God the music's Pigbag. A tune I never get bored of probably because it reminds me of being a teenager in London and now it's engrained with my many Rs memories. If we played something corny and razzmatazzy like Tina Turner's 'Simply The Best' I would only go to away games.
The tannoy volume is definitely a problem. I tried going on the wagon sometime last season so at half-time I stayed in the Upper Loft and looked forward to watching Don Masson (?) be inducted into the Forever Rs club. The standard of the generic pop pap played was awful and the volume was defeaning - even just the voice of the announcer was torture. Within 5 minutes I was in the Blue and White Bar with my face in a pint of Guinness.
The music for when we concede should definitely be this ...

I'm not too bothered by PIgbag but I'd like London Calling to be the opening music again and I hate it that those fools at Craven Cottage use it. What's it got to do with them? Mick Jones is a Rangers fan, it's ours!
My six year old grandson has just started going to the odd game, went to Leeds cup and Swansea and absolutely loves pigbag, stands on the seat the lot. It's that annoying sh#te before the game that needs to go. Too loud and pointless, just do London Calling.
It's being so happy that keeps me going.

I like it. Its something that is uniquely QPR. The fans know it. The fans sing it. Its part of the traditions of the game and culture of the team that make the experience different. I like London Calling at the beginning and Hi Ho at the end for the same reasons. Something that is uniquely us and makes everyone happy -- why would you get rid of that? Too much fun???
I remember in the late 50's early 60's Rangers used to run out to the tune of "March of the gladiators" I do not have the skills to post but it's on you tube if you want to google it.
