Where is everyone from? 19:21 - Jul 30 with 32821 views | SgorioFruit | Two weeks left til we kick off. I thought I'd start a thread to see how far and wide planet swans reaches our fans. I think we have a few American jacks on here, anyone else following us abroad? Be good to see where everyone is from in the UK too. To start off, SgorioFruit is based in Ammanford.

Where is everyone from? on 22:33 - Aug 3 by FieryJack | Think Bradford PA were relegated in that season 69/70 - to be replaced by Cambridge United. Bradford PA still exist, just about, and I see the odd fan of theirs now and again - usually old weird duffers sat in the corner of the pub, sporting tatty green and whites scarves. Totally outnumbered by BCFC fans now, of course. Their original 19th century ground is a sad place, bounded on one side by one of Bradford's more f**ked up estates and on the other by a huge, pink-stoned, terminally unfinished mosque. Their most famous "old boy" was Kevin Hector, who went on to find a modicum of glory at Derby County in the 1970's. |
And the Vancouver Whitecaps from my area -- NASL Soccer Bowl champion in 1979.

Where is everyone from? on 02:43 - Aug 4 by BanosPerth | Beresford Nursing Home ... well, well, and I thought I was the only one left (1947) ! I understand it was demolished some time ago. What is standing there these days ? Is there any history available ? |
Still standing in Glanmor Rd. But a private home, I think.

Their old ground in 69 was demolished, it was a quaint place next to a cricket stadium, similar to Craven cottage, the stand we were in was called the "Chicken run" about 12 feet wide!........ONE OLD Swan was a regular there Derek Draper old DD. https://www.flickr.com/photos/bradford_timeline/14697217549 http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/10382873.A_model_of_perfection_in_Av

Where is everyone from? on 08:55 - Aug 2 by Uppa_Swans | People overestimate Cardiff support in Port Talbot because most of their PT lot are headers that make a lot of noise. Probably as many Swans fans within the actual city of Cardiff itself. |

Very few of them go to games anymore as far as I know. They were probably just there for a dust-up anyway. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
