Retrospective Acton...................... 12:37 - Jan 17 with 3968 views | swan65split | http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38650163 Not going to happen! it will open a can of worms, ref saw Allis action as a foul and they had a penalty , scored. So now if they take action against Alli, ...the goal? the ref? Any other iffy decisions,? its not going to happen.

Let each team have a number of challenges like they do in hockey. If the technology is available to view multiple replays from different angles and get the right result, you have to do it during the game.

Retrospective Acton...................... on 14:05 - Jan 17 with 3658 views | MrSwerve | I've said this in the past but football needs to learn something from rugby when it comes to officiating the game. Allow refs to stop the clock and consult replays with the 4th official for the really tight calls. The refs can use their common sense with how much they do this. Who cares if they can't do this at grass roots level?

Don't see why we can't. There's so much riding on games these days, surely it's in everyone's interest to get decisions right. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Game stays the same but punishment later exactly the same as violent conduct. Professional football is crying out for sone integrity and needs this to happen badly.

Allis case, dived penalty, ...goal , may have changed the game ! and cost us 3 points. Ref gave a pen , when it should have been a dive, action against hime, give him a Merseyside derby , demote to the championship, or give penalty points against him? same for the linesman.

By saying the player had dived or was not fouled, in turn would be saying that the ref was wrong. Repercussions would surely follow on the ref, pressure from the fans and/or club involved would make sure of that.

Refs obviously make mistakes, but if they are corrected immediately, the fans will forget about them.

Maybe that's the issue. Football is corrupt at the highest level so anything that reduces discretion for cheating is seen as a bad thing by FIFA.
