Ki is absolutely fine for a mid table Premier League team. He was here when we played some of our best football in this league. It is not his fault the team is set up awfully and the players brought in recently are of League 1 / Championship standard.

He's certainly not worthy of a starting place. However he is fine to have as a 3rd or 4th choice centre midfielder.
The fact he's starting games for us 3 or 4 years after it was painfully obvious he was not quite good enough to start for us is another damning indictment of how rubbish our transfer activity is.
We buy players like Ki, Fer and Cork who'd struggle to get on the benches of most other teams yet all are starting games for us. It's embarrassing. | |

We arguably played our best football when Laudrup was Manager and he hardly played and was shipped out to Sunderland and in fairness he had been poor, he perked up at Sunderland then came back here as a different player and then regressed again. | |
