I watched the last episode of line of duty and thought that was good. Undercover has finally grabbed by attention. I quite like some of the investigative programmes Stacey Dooley does. However I can't wait for the next series of people just do nothing.
Just watched the Ronnie o sullivan doc film. Really good insight to the mind of a genius player. I feel genuinely lucky to be able to watch Ronnie play in my lifetime. GOAT. Recommended viewing.
I was in the Loft when they filmed the penalty during HT at one game. She didn't actually kick the ball, just ran alongside I assume one of our youth players who actually took the kick.

Me too, I remember one of the producers/ assistants/ floor runners urging the crowd to make some noise and cheer as hard as they could whilst it was being filmed. Cue thousands of voices uniting in "Get your tits out for the lads" continuously. They dubbed the sound in post production.
I’m late to it, but half way through second series and Slow Horses is one of the best things I’ve seen in a long while. Gary Oldman superb, but so is all the cast.
asphalt jungle Irish gang warfare. Great soundtrack and the brutality of a knuckle.
I watched all 8 episodes in one sitting last weekend. Brilliant. Just Brilliant.
Just finished this myself
Hadn’t appreciated its closely based around a bit of real life and a crime family called the Kincaids(???) in Dublin A reasonably famous Irish actor was filling me in all about it on Tuesday’s dog walk
A brilliant series and highly recommended watch
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Kinahan, or at least the Eamon Cunningham kingpin figure. Tyson Fury’s best mate’s dad. The Hutch family are their roadkill. I’m struck by Ciaran Honda resemblance to Hank Hill. Surprised he hasn’t tried pushing dodgy propane yet.

Ciaran Honda? Ciaran Heinz? Ciaran Hinds!
A great actor, but for me, the only weak link in this otherwise superb crime drama. Episode three has to be the most emotionally gripping 50 minutes of TV I've watched in a very long time.
Clare Dunne is riveting, can't take my eyes off her. Beautifully shot, great score, this is right up my strasse. Thanks for the recommendation Disco.

Curse you, spelling prompt!! I’ve just seen episode 3, you’re right, it was excellent. I thought it had all been a bit cut and paste Gomorrah/Animal Kingdom-on-the-Liffey up to then, but this was another level.
It is amazing how many Irish actors were in Game of Thrones. I was watching an Irish language film set in the Famine called Arracht (Monster), very dark in every sense. Michael McElhatton, who played evil bastard Lord Roose Bolton played an evil bastard landlord in this. You can stream it free on TG4 Beo.
A Murder at the End of the World on Disney. The reviews said it is modern day take on Sherlock Holmes, I thought it more like a version of an Agatha Christie murder mystery. Pretty decent either way.
Just seen Maestro on Netflix. All the attention has been on Bradley Cooper and his rubber nose, but Carey Mulligan is fantastic, very reminiscent of Juliet Stevenson. Nice chunk of Mahler’s 2nd too.
(Warning to Clive - contains stringed instruments)
The Gold a tv drama series about the Brink's-Mat robbery is superb Its on BBC i player and stars Hugh Bonneville.I know it was mentioned on this thread a while back but its worth another plug in case anyone has missed it like i nearly did.
Also i enjoyed The Highwaymen a movie with Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson about the hunt for Bonnie and Cylde on Netflix.
Post Emmys - Mrs Chef decided we should watch The Bear. Watched the first episode last night; I wouldn't exactly say it's a comedy (maybe it gets funnier?) but caught the attention and I like its gritty style. Also playing Animal by Pearl Jam over the end credits was a winner.
