Not quite sure why, as the evidence doesn't exactly provide an irrefutable case for it, but I have a good feeling in my bones about wor Jimmy. I think he's going to be a real positive influence on our club.
I like the cut of his jib. I think he's garnering a good feeling around the squad and an atmosphere of professionalism and positivity.
The next four months will be interesting and pivotal.
On another matter, we've got to build the team around Chery.

totally agree it's not been exciting this year, don't get me wrong! but that's mid-table for you I think. My point really was back at the start - players can improve, and within better teams can surprise you and the gap really isn't as massive as it's made out to be. |
I agree - the promoted teams AND Leicester back up that point certainly!
Its not just the mid table thing I don't think, I do believe quality of the matches this season has been poorer than our last promotion season.

The other thing i like about jimmy as our manager is he's doing better than most of the managers some of us here were crying out for . For example, Paul clement, Kenny Jackett, Karl Robinson,Paul Lambert,McDermott. Snapping at the ankles of Gary Rowetts team.
Where's Warburton?

Do you know that for a fact? Was he ever approached? I don't remember the club ever saying they had spoken to him. All I ever saw was that the papers saying Warburton stating he was flattered to be linked to the job. | |

No i don't know for a fact. I thought i read he didn't want to work under a DoF ie Les.
Who knows how job application for manager's work but it didn't look like he fancied the job to me. | |
