If love to see him here but surely what we badly need now is experience.

Thats an interesting one.

Although how will he actually manage tog get Gomis to score again - hit is one on one chance directly at goalie and totally fluffed his second chance.

Very difficult for any manager if haven't got a PL level striker and back-up for that striker.

Has he also got a reputation for tightening defences up?

That's my belief too.

He'll be useless when we get back in to Europe though.

Agree surely all that matters is that we survive this year. Appoint someone with experience who can do that. No long term contracts, just to the end of the season and take it from there. If he keeps us up, consider a longer contract. I can't understand why long contracts are given when 90% result in sackings and compensation well before the contract ends.

? He's got shedloads of experience and would still lead the line better and move quicker than Gomis.

Oh, you mean as manager. Sorry, my mistake

Will we spend any money on a contract buy out? Highly unlikely so it'll be soneone unattached

Be over there now after

Bergkamp has been assistant manager at Ajax for quite a few years. His first job would be to bring in a handful of players to improve the squad and turn our attack into something much more lethal (attack best form of defence etc). I doubt if he would want to come from Ajax just to be assistant manager.

Especially as firing Garry will cost the best part of £3-4m. Which is probably why the board will stick with him for as long as they possibly can.
