Report: Dale 0 Kidderminster 1

Dale crashed to another defeat, this time at home to Kidderminster. Another pathetic performance from Dale, as they conceded a late goal at the hands of Shilton

What the hell was that?! Did we actually watch a football game tonight, or did we see a selection of players, who were as good as any in the division last season, get beat by a very average side?!

It simply is not good enough! 20 minutes at the start of the game Dale were seemingly the better side. Hockenhull managed to miss an open net from a couple of yards out, Simpson had a shot tipped over, and Griffiths caused problems from crosses.

But then that all stopped, for no reason whatsoever and Kidderminster were suddenly in complete control of the game. Stand in keeper Bennett was the busier of the two keepers, but never really had to make any saves. At the other end Dale managed one shot on target, a long range volley from Simpson that was easily saved, and even brought cheers from the depressed Sandy Lane!

As the game wore on there was only going to be one winner. Kiddie had all the possession and it was just a matter of time before they got a good opportunity to take the points. It came after a scramble in the box, and Shilton managed to stab the ball into the net.

Boos followed, chants of Simpson Out rang around the Sandy, and yet some people still refused to admit that he is doing a bad job. 'Don't come if you don't like it' was their reply. Fair enough the majority will stay away, sure we can survive on crowds of less than 1000!? Get real!

Time has come for a change, York simply papered over the cracks. The second half tonight was one of the worst displays seen all season, and there has been some bad ones! How amusing its going to be on Good Friday being humiliated by bury! Great! This has to stop! Simpson Out!
