Good to hear Steve Quashie on the pod, someone who knows what he's talking about. He is doing a brilliant job this season with the women's team. In the past 3 seasons , the previous incumbent won 6 league games. Steve came back in the summer and the team now play with smiles on their faces and any feedback from the touch line is always constructive. They've won all 5 league games so far and the only game they've lost in 12was recently in the FA Cup vs Leyton Orient when they were very unlucky to lose 2-1 as it could have gone either way. They won all 3 games in their league cup group and qualify for the knock out stage, the draw is still to be made. Before Steve came back it was soul destroying watching them get thumped every week. At the start of the season I spoke to one of the parents who said her daughter hadn't received one to one goalkeeping coaching in three years. Steve changed that and they've kept 5 clean sheets in the 12 competitive games they've played so far. Not only that, they play the kind of football a lot of teams would be proud of.
