When a lot of those fans turn up 5 minutes before ko it makes it difficult for the host clubs to do anything about it.If they check tickets as late as that it would lead to chaotic scenes with all the aisles blocked by late comers.I think it’s just the easiest option to allow people to stand where they want,within reason. |

I thought the tannoy announcement was about sitting in your correct seat as there was overcrowding in the back rows in the corner,and our fans were singing “We’ll sit where we want.”
A few police came up the stairs,but soon left. |

I got almost as wet yesterday as I did on NYD,and I was towards the back of the stand.Whether it was the flames or the heat generated by the fans in the stadium,it only started dripping around ko time and continued for a lot of the game.
I heard some people say that the stewards put salt on the steps in some areas,but the never came round to our section,and we had stewards having to escort people safely down the steps.The stairway to our left had metal grooves in it to improve the surface,so why couldn’t they do that on all of them?
I honestly think that the game shouldn’t have gone ahead yesterday with the foggy conditions at ko time,but once it started,it was going to be completed.
Funny how the ref gave a penalty against Ashby when he couldn’t see an Ipswich handball on a clear night in 2023.
I’d liked to have seen a couple of subs at ht as we still had a chance to turn it around,but it’s all academic now.
Well done to all the travelling fans for their support of the team on the day. |

The train line between Peterborough and Leicester was closed for a while earlier in the week due to flooding,but that opened a couple of days ago.I think it will only be ice that might cause any possible travel delays.It might be the wrong type of ice for trains to run knowing this lot.
According to the met office it’s going to warm up from 0 degrees at noon to 1c by ko time,and it’ll be a bit misty. [Post edited 9 Jan 20:46]

20% discount on food and drinks with a match ticket.Website says it opens at 12,but rumours on fb say 11am. [Post edited 8 Jan 16:40]

That must the reason why so few of them ever show up for the home games then.If you’re only paying £5 a game it doesn’t matter much if you miss a few.Unless they all come dressed as red plastic seats? |

I’ve seen a lot of cars parked on the pavement all the way along the South Africa rd stand when there isn’t a game on,but they might have parking permits. |

Book somewhere at one of the online parking sites is probably best.Or a pub that allows away fans.
Just park have spaces at Homebase Leicester for £7 from 11am till 4pm.That’s a 15 minute walk to the ground.There are some for £6 but I’m not sure where they are. [Post edited 5 Jan 17:56]

Far too many games moved for sky tv.Especially bad for 12.30 ko’s.Is it 6 or 7 12.30’s so far?Blackburn and Plymouth away were both moved without any thought for us fans who go to games. |
