Im guessing these will not be costing us that much , due to nature of loans as outlined by NorthernR.
I think all three so far , could be a gamble , but looking at this 1 month ago , we were expecting nothing - and have only lost Dozzell.
I listened to Hayden's interview and he is under no Illussion's as to the dire situation we are in.
Hodge , i have never heard of before but also , wants to prove himself( lets hope he is not like that guy we had from Leeds a few years back ...
It gives the fans a lift , showing some form of hope ... so thats a good thing . I think ? |

I agree . Have no idea who sanctioned the Taylor Richards deal, but they need a talking to
We are already heaping a lot of pressure on Sinclair Armstrong , Kolli looks a great prospect but we need to give the poor lad time.
If Chair were to depart and we had no replacement lined up , I feel questions should be asked .
I don't think Chair will go... but that's just based on me being a dreamer .. |

Reading between the lines - Jimmy Dunne will be back after international break . JCS appears to be back...So a Centre back loan would be out ?
Dykes due back at weekend , with Armstrong and maybe Kolli.. again as a poster has suggested , a premier loan would be out unless they start.
A free no brainer like Chris Martin maybe our only incoming.
Reports from the fans that went to Southampton were encouraging re youngsters... so if no one goes, I'm guessing that Chris Willock will have a blinding last 8 games to up his value in the free market ?
So... no one coming in i guess |

Not sure what his current transfer value is... I also think he needs to kick his career on now and sadly that may not be with us.
For me, has been my favourite player for past two seasons, but agree if we get an offer and that helps us elsewhere ..take it
Jack Colback seems to be his replacement so assume we could drag this out till just before window closes.
I would sell Willock / Dozzell / as well ... |

I know...it just gets depressing reading the rumours( which i shouldn't) that we cannot even afford to pay a loan fee to get a right back in , which is probably BS.
I am expecting 2 out of the three to be moved on to possibly make way for potential new signings... which i assume will go down to the wire. Which means... no movement in the near future.
It would be nice for the board to come out and....back the manager, say something up lifting to the fans . Especially to the travelling fans that will be supporting the club over next few weeks in thier away ventures |

I was hoping that we might have signed someone by now as i too have a drink problem / QPR related 
Its almost like, the board have decided to sell up and are looking for potential buyers . Selling who they can and not outlaying any additional fees on players they wont get back. Then the new owners will put into place their own DOF ....I mean, the silence coming out of the club is deafening FFS.
Field Willock Chair could all potentially leave before transfer window closes
Colback to replace Field
Smyth was to replace either Willock /Chair

During the game , it makes no sense to Boo a player. Im sure we have all played at some level, at booing a player during the game is ( IMO) counter productive.
At the end of the game how ever

Not a big fan of booing, but I certainly understand why fans do.
I wasn't there on Saturday, but I would not have clapped them off .
Abusing players / managers ? No Either at the ground or on social media.
But , they have to know how we feel.
Fans give up their whole days, travelling , spend shed loads of money, run the risk of family arguements etc etc all for supporting the team they love.
These footballers are being paid good money to entertain us.
If I watch a team that's sh.t but give 100% - so beit - can't fault their effort
But if they don't care , don't turn up, don't bother to show any interest whatsoever , they need to know the fans are frustrated.How else will they know.
Typical British...
My meal taste like crap and the service here is shocking.
Waiter : Hello Sir , how's the meal etc
Me .... Lovely , couldn't be better
No the meals cold, the service is slow and I didn't order tripe .

There's a line in the Josey Wales film,

That's how i feel about this club at the moment.
The training ground aside, there is nothing positive coming out of this club. GA beating his chest and telling us it will be ok come end of the season, doesn't do it for me.
Lets juts take on e are on the field :
Centre Half
We took a decent Centre half with prospect and turned him into a league 2 player. I expect him to flourish at Bristol City
Balogun left
That left us with Dunne and Salter Clarke in May
In 3 months, all we can come up with is Megan Fox. Not his fault his not that good.
In fact - all over the pitch, and it has been said - we have not replaced anyone anywhere ( keeper aside)
No one seems to care - club drifting to League 1 - Fans ... almost accepting it ( not being critical as thats how i feel) |

This is exactly what I was thinking.
However .... we just don't have to players to change this.
2 and a half months to plan for this day and our team is worse than it looked on the last day of the season
I feel for poor Gubbins and Fox .....plus WTF is Colback thinking ? No wonder JCS is always injured |

Maybe its a win / win situation this weekend ?
Without being to negative , our defence was poor last year and i cannot believe we are 1 day
before the start of the season and our defence looks weaker .
The only positive is our keeper .
With that said , we lose, hopefully.... some one will twig that we need players in , that's my hopes.
Opening games of the season have proved " strange" and something bizarre may happen. But like most fans, i'm expecting a poor start.
To be fair , a fit Dunne / Fox / JCS + 1 is not a bad shout. Agree also about Gubbins , been around for some time. Its time to step up now...

1 - If Watford totally annihilate us, it will show , whoever decides of transfers , that we
do actually need more bodies
2 - By this time, any one good would have been snapped up or of still free would think twice
about signing for us

Based on what i have read... Will not pay £400,000 for Forino - dropped out of deal with Josh Knight after they accepted an offer of £300,000 - After Steve Cook as he is on a free - but high wages....
Whatmough now seems to want to stay up north ( Preston ?)
WTF are we waiting for ?
Not a big fan of Fox, but the poor fella will start Saturday... with possibly Gubbins? ....

I know I'm in a minority , but Dickie when he started for us , looked one of the best footballing defenders we had for a long time. I think Bristol City will turn him back into he decent prospect he once was.
We have a habit of making average players with potential ... worse .
I cannot believe we are sitting here 4 days before the start of our new season with the only fit central defender ..... a reject from Stoke .
Once Dickie and Balogun were off ....we should have had a defender in ....
We all knew JCS would be a non starter and that leaves us with Dunne - who is now injured .
Obviously FFP has a lot to do with this....but FFS .....
Hopefully we can get out of the Watford game in single figure defat and then pray we can sign a few more freebie from somewhere.....
