Sinclair’s immediate impact crowns Cifuentes’ successful Fox hunt – Report
at 20:00:04

I've been waiting 9 years to see the R's back in my hometown...couldn't have gone any better! The arrogance of them up here irritates the hell out of me as well and I have to deal with it all the time.

I like the "never lost after change of monarch" stat. Spurious statistical work at its best! Chance to create some history tonight then...

Me, The Auld Fella and Charlie Austin — Column

A wonderful piece and having lost a close family member (albeit not QPR supporting) in the summer I know full well how the emotion and hurt can still hit you at random times.

Thank you for sharing and take care.

I can't agree with him saying the promotion team had few players for whom QPR was "the big chance" when he used just Clint Hill as an example.

Pretty much every player of that squad, other than Adel, were at QPR because it was their big chance to try and get in the Premiership.

The Premier League teams - certainly agree - none of them were there for seeing QPR as a big chance - the wasters like Mbia, Bosingwa, Barton, Cesar etc.

But its a bit of a disservice to the likes of Derry, Orr, Mackie, Faurlin, Gorkks, Connolly etc in my view.

Seeing the picture at the top is the first time I've noticed their owner has his own name splashed across the seats in the stand that is opposite the directors boxes etc...

I'm sure its claimed to be corporate sponsorship of some sort but really its just ego...the state of these people...

Excellently written as always, like you am struggling to muster as much enthusiasm for a league campaign at Loftus Road I can't be there for. I find I can hardly recognise any of our players when they're squashed into small figures on my TV (although it is also quite a small TV...)

Glad, and completely unsurprised, to read you share my disdain for this modern nonsense phenomenon of "e-sports". As you say, it is quite simply watching other people play computer games and that is one of the most boring things on earth (although fun to play yourself, if you enjoy playing the game in question).

End of Term Report 19/20 — Defenders
at 11:43:20

"The general consensus is that Warbs wants to play out from the back and Leistner wants to clunk people over the head and devour their raw flesh"

I do love the stuff you come up with sometimes Clive!

The Ale Faurlin interview — part two
at 13:23:14

I wish he'd been able to stay with us to retirement too! I remember seeing one of his first games for us at Scunthorpe and he stood out for us then. A wonderful,, wonderful player, definitely one I miss! I would say the best all round midfielder I've seen play for us.
