Saw Lockyer from charlton is available on a free. Naby sarr there is also available for free but not sure we need another left footer unless they’re clearly better than barbet.

Interesting one, missed out on the 50k we paid for Kelly, but seems to agree that Luongo went for about £1mil.

How on earth Reading spent all that and still are that crap is beyond me, but I’d love to see them finally get relegated, same with Stoke. Also shows how well run Bristol city and Brentford are even if they’ve spent decent sums this window.

Overall very happy with the window and the start to the season, COYR

Seeing lots of articles about him coming to us in the last 4 hours. He posted a picture of his passport in an airport on Instagram too so looking promising.
With him, hall and the bfg I think we have a pretty capable cb rotation. Add in baptiste and lunch for Cover and Philips has looked ok during the preseason and should hopefully get a chance near the first team this year. I’d consider letting lynch leave it we can get any offers.

What does everyone else think ?

Played a few times for the first team and still young at 17- what do people think ?
I’d love this kind of competition to come in and push Furlong. I think Furs deserves a chance to make it his own but we need backup and someone inexperienced wouldn’t put the same pressure on him as an experienced rb who needs to start would.

How times change, couldn’t get shot of him for free for a good couple of years and now Dundee getting 6 figure bids for him.

I guess this isn’t too much of a shock, he was always somewhat competent when trying but I’m still glad we got rid.

I actually think this is great. Only til January and he hasn't been getting significant minutes with us (whether he should be is another matter entirely).
Trust ainsworth to get him firing on all cylinders, especially with how threadbare their squad is, he's sure to get plenty of playing time.

Anyone think we shouldve kept him around ?

Seems to have bulked up this year, but he's definitely lacking in men's football experience and seems to be behind both Ariel and manning at the moment so I can see why they're doing this.

Interesting to hear Ollie be so upfront about it. Anyone think This could be an issue for Robinson/cousins and all our other players with constant niggles?

For me, this could be a bigger issue than loftus road in terms of us becoming the club the management want us to be and we should be looking for alternatives. The stadium is obviously a huge issue but we all know that's gonna be a long process.
