I am one of many fans who watched Reg Jenkins Stan Millburn, the 2 greatest players to ever wear the shirt. followed home and away, from the middle of the 1950,s.
Nowadays called an old goat, or toothless wonder while trying to buy a ticket to the game without the latest 12 G mobile phone. This team i,m steeped in personal interest and support I think are now doomed. Same as Oldham and Bury, two teams with more success and history than ourselves. I am not the future as a fan, but I think the only future these 3 areas have, Is with a tri-joint come together. The venue and stadium to be built by investors who care. Its been muted many times, but now is definitely the only time it could work.
Let us get together, and not die as individual nobodies. |

I think the turning point will come Tuesday night against Carlisle.
Luke Charman will start possibly with Andrews up front, we will attack them for sure.
R.S, has felt it important to defend, defend defend even at home lately.
But an attacking force will be unleashed against Carlisle I am sure.
Let the tide turn turn on Tuesday, there is no chance we will go down.
And lets hope Oldham can get above Stevenage, with Stockport coming into division 2.
Next year will be a very interesting and maybe lucrative season for the club.
Come on lets stay positive, the future will look bright after Tuesday. |

Thread | Why three centre halves?

Robin Stockdale looks like he is adamant his team needs three centre halves WHY?
He has the best two in league division 2. Downing and EOC, can have Dorsett on the subs bench. two top class fullbacks, from Mansfield and Fleetwood.
The big problem is scoring goals, so now we can have four midfielders and two strikers.
That defence will take care of anything in league two, please R.S. lets get a little more adventurous, especially at home. This defensive strategy is much too negative.
R.S certainly has the players now to be more positive.

Am I right in thinking that if you do not have a mobile phone you cannot go watch the team you have watched for decades anymore? Now living 20 miles away, I do not want to travel just to buy a ticket on a Friday, I just want to drive to the ground arrive there about 2.30 pm and watch the match. I do not have, or want a mobile phone. maybe elderly people are not welcomed anymore. |

Lets hope Tranmere beat Lincoln, then we have a hell of an interesting game.
2 Huge home games for Dale v Tranmere then Wimbledon.
We didn't want it easy, we wanted excitement, and good attendance in our 2 important home matches....End of season excitement, better than suffering from some virus. |
