Warburton? The same Warburton who was funded to make a push for play offs with a team that desperately shouted for a decent forward went on and signed Hendricks and the other tosser whose name I have luckily forgotten. That went well. As it did went for him at Brentford before where he made the same mistake. Yeah by all means bring warbs back and we ll see how that works.

Im struggling with the idea that this whole team is masterminded just by Nourry and Belk.
If Marti has nothing to do with these player signings then why did he sign a new contract if he was handed crap tools to work with.
He must have seen that half of them are too crap and dont fit in championship. Was he just naive and thought ok i ve been handed crap so lets see what i can make out of it and if i can make it work? I doubt it. Very much.
Surely he could have just walked away and found another job pretty soon with his cv. That good cv is going down the toilet at the moment.
And what you see whats going on at the pitch is down to Marti. Injuries or not.
Im not calling for Martis head no. But to point the finger just towards Nourry is odd when all three of them Marti, Belk,and Nourry have made some serious mistakes.

I do think that as a midfielder he is not that good and have often criticized him but as a defender he is much better and should be used as such.

Ok. Its a point instead of the hammering i expected. Good.
But we could have played till sunday morning and against 8 men and still not shown any decent effort to score one goal.

So as Nourry said them four ( nourry, marti,calm,belk) do put their heads together and see what kind of players they need and then belk do some hours with the football manager 2023 to crawl thru the data and gives some names of the players and the they crawl thru some YouTube videos to see if there is anything on those players and nourry opens the money chest.
Wont sack Marti because he just signed a new contract and it will make him ( Nourry) look stupid so the blame goes on Belk.
Whom in my books have not done a particularly good job in identifying players in the recent years.

Very much this.
Fox made a mistake and that happens. I cannot blame Fox for the first goal. A bit sloppy perhaps but had to avoid collapsing with another of our players who was sliding towards the goal. Who it was i dont recall. Then the ball bounced to the mid of the penalty are from where dunne and field i think were desperately late to clear it off.
Easily you could put this loss on Chair too who missed an open change trying to be clever and do the same as Dembele.
There were some good moves that ended into a half witted shots somewhere where the goal might be but not exactly into the net.

Once more then i give it a rest. No this has nothing to do with Nourry. Its MC s team and his signings. All that kind of signings he needed to for his game idea and most if not all of them are better from what we had. Are we really missing players like dozzel and dykes for an example. Surely not.
But unfortunately the championship proved to be a bit too physical for most of our new players and it takes time to adapt into it and think these players will learn it. Sooner than later i hope. Much depends on MC.

I would be very surprised if any of the players who came last summer are anything other than what Cifuentes wanted and our money chest allowed. Looks exactly those kind of players he needed for his idea of how the team should play. Did he sign only dross? No. The players are ok. Most of them better than what we had. Its just not clicking at the moment.
