It’s broken, the game is run by tossers that just don’t care.
Add to this the fact that EUFA have threatened to ban English clubs from Europe if we bring in a football regulator and it’s clear that they only care about one thing.
....and it was a really shit penalty against a fat bloke that fell over in the wrong direction.
He should never be allowed to take a Col U penalty.
Was it Tovide at number 7 that got the penalty.
Check out our goal machine at 1:16, glad he's got that one out of his system!
I see he played the full match against a bunch neanderthals thereby maximising the chances of ruining our season and I expect he will do it all again on Sunday.
As for Bowyer, glad to see he's done so well for himself, he deserves it.
"Sarfraz Najeib was left unconscious, lying in his own blood. His cheekbone was smashed, his left leg fractured and his nose broken in three places. There were teeth marks embedded in his face, as well as the imprint of a shoe. Sarfraz had a wound to the back of his head that needed a dozen stitches. Witnesses thought he might be dead when his attackers, who had formed a semi-circle around him, fled the dimly lit Leeds side-street where they had beaten him within an inch of his life"
2024 if you're part of a mob that sets fire to a wheelie bin and direct it towards the coppers you get a lengthy stretch inside. 2000 you could be part of a mob that almost kills someone in a rasict attack and you walk free. Not everything is getting worse in the UK.
In fairness, the penalty by Read wasn't too clever either. If your going down the middle, you've got to lift above the keepers feet.
I think some of the problem with Samson is that he believes the constant bullshit that spews out of DC.
I appreciate they have to pretend the academy is working and that he's the next great star to come from its ranks, but it seems like all this, he's a great talent, he's going to go far, we've had great offers for him, has gone to his head. He's not a child, he's not too many years away from his peak and so far he's achieved very little in the game and the way he's going, he's not likely too either.
Despite possibly having more talent that Bradley, at the moment, he's poles apart in terms of where their respective careers are likely to go. It's a shame really.
The ref at Port Vale had the measure of Tovide right from the start. Second half he’d had enough. There was one instance when the theatrics started again and despite there obviously being nothing seriously wrong, the ref called straight for the physio so he could send Tovide to the touchline where he left him for an age before letting him back on the pitch. Meanwhile we are playing with 10 men for no good reason.
It shows weak management. He’s 20 for God’s sake. His immature temperament should have been nipped in the bud last season, but instead, this season his pathetic behaviour is an embarrassment to the club and will cost us. If he won’t listen, he should have been off-loaded instead of Bradley.
I’m not sure about Anderson, he’s not had a decent run since injury, but clearly Gordon and Hunt are on a reasonably long list of signings that have failed, so far, to be anywhere near good enough.
If the Cowley’s knew they would have to sell the silver every time someone came knocking, I’m amazed they took the job, but they did, and this is their show, there are no valid excuses anymore.
We didn’t lose, that’s the only positive. 0-0 at home to a team that will be in the relegation zone if Stanley draw their game in hand. Hopefully with some time off we will come back from the break with a full strength squad.
….. don’t hold your breath, I know it’s blasphemous to speak ill of our sacred Lyle, but did I hear that the English born Mr Taylor is off to play for his country? No… his parent’s country…. erm no, his grandparents’ country. He can’t manage 90 mins twice in one week for the team that pays his wages and desperately needs him, but he can fly to Monserat and on to some miniscule island just off Venezuela, to play two games where he’ll likely get lumps kicked out of him by a pub team. If that happens, we are totally up shite creek now that we’ve been stupid enough to lose both Bradley and Connor Wilkinson.
From Wiki, I see we are the 20th club Lyle’s played for, so not so much a journeyman, more of an expeditionman, so I guess loyalty is not something he’s familiar with. Another bit of good business for the club?
I totally agree, not only are they dedicated, but their vocal support at every game is first class. They must be a big help to the team on long away trips.
Port Vale was the proverbial football in a library, truely woeful home support that was put to shame by 140 away fans.
Add to that the Blue White Army at home and pound for pound we have as good a set of supporters as any club.
We’re a month and a half into the season and we need a weekend off!!!!!!
What odds it’ll be a Tues in January and it’ll be called off a hour before kick off due to a frozen pitch. It’s a total farce, but as long as the Fa, EFL and Sky can make their fortune, that’s all that matters.
