Can’t agree, nothing that iconic about red and white stripes, Exeter, Altrincham, Stevenage, Lincoln etc all wear them. Roughly a 1/3rd of Saints shirts haven’t been stripes.
A truly iconic kit was/is the sash, our first ever kit, and, I’m my humble opinion, the best. Worn way before River Plate & Peru, a rare kit that the Saints pretty much invented. #SaveOurSash |
