February

I have a feeling it will be good month for us, we have 7 games, 5 of which are against teams below us and we have 4 games at home!

I am going to make a bold prediction and say we will get 13 points from the month

Hugill
at 08:20 8 Oct 2019

Read a few bits and pieces this morning which says that West Ham are hoping to sell Hugill this January, surely with our year loan agreement that can't happen? Or at least the club buying him can't have him until the end of the season?

Just been watching a few highlights of that season, mad to think that season we beat Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool at home.

Hypothetical question but..
at 09:26 4 Sep 2019

If and it is a massive if we are around the playoffs come January do you think we will take a punt and try to spend a little? Now I know we haven't got a lot, however I just wonder if we would dip into any of the budget we would have set aside for the next summer window to give us a chance of play offs.

Do you think he will get a good reception on Wednesday?

I really hope he does, someone who worked hard for us and was committed, just a shame he didn't fit into the plans and the pay bracket. Without a doubt one of our better players last year

Fulham away
at 10:02 1 Aug 2019

Very early for this question but we are planning a stag for the weekend of the Fulham game and there will be around 18 of us, all bar 1 are QPR fans however they do not go to as many away games as the hardcore among us meaning they have less points, worry is due to the work going on in the stadium we are concerned that the away allocation will be dramatically decreased and so not everyone will be able to get a ticket. Does anyone know what Fulham are giving away fans this season? Someone told me it may only be 1500

Attendance for 1st home game
at 16:24 29 Jul 2019

Just looking on the ticketing site to see how many tickets we have left for the home game, seems we have a few to shift yet but I can see us getting 14000/15000 dependant on the away following.

Think us fans are going to be so important this season, as hard as it is for some patience will be key while we try new things out and bed in players.

Fully expectant we can have an average of 13500+ this season

Youth of today
at 14:03 22 Jul 2019

Just been watching a group of young lads all play football at a 5aside pitch which is local to me they all must have been 13/14, the quality was unreal and the skills and how they read the game was so great to watch. They must have broken up for the school holidays but you could tell every single one of them was having such an amazing time playing football with their mates and for free at that.

What saddened me massively is about 30 mins into their game 3 lads a similar age came on the pitch all hoods up, hands down their tracksuit bottoms and just totally stopped the game asking for the ball and decided just to do some kick ups in the centre stopping the lads game totally. You could see all the lads who were originally playing were very scared of these 3 lads, they clearly knew them and were intimated.

It really upset me as here we are living in a city where youth crime is sky high and you have a load of lads doing what they love and playing football with their mates staying out of trouble for a few idiots to ruin it and try and stamp some authority down.

I admit I didn't say anything as I didn't want to interfere but it made me think how things like that an be avoided and how sad it is that just a few can ruin it. How many of Londons kids are intimidated off local pitches or end up down the wrong path through fear. I know this is a random thread so apologies for that

Warburton transparent?
at 09:19 22 Jul 2019

One thing Warburton said he was going to be was transparent and open to the fans as 'that's what they deserve' however for me with the lack of information on Goss, Luongo, BFG and Wheeler he has been the opposite. I would have thought he would have at least said they just are not in his plans or they want to leave.

On new signings I think he is limited to what he can say so on that front his hands are tied but with current players I expected a better update.

For the record I think Warburton has come across great and I see him getting the best out what he has, I am just frustrated at the lack of information on some of our players who seem to have been frozen out along with loaning and selling our only able strikers

All this talk about loans and new signings has made me question which prem team we have done well off in recent years. It surely would have to be spurs Townsend, Walker, Taarabt, Jenas, Carroll all have done well for us in recent years with now Amos. On the other side Man united signings have been so poor and we have been burnt, none have worked out, Park, Fabio, Ferdinand, Keane, Goss, macheda all failed to deliver for us

I see the club have confirmed the youngsters which are being let go, when do you think we will hear about those in the senior team being let go? I suppose the team at the weekend will give some clues. If I remember correctly last season we did it before the last home game
