He’s not looking after his country at all.
He is appealing to the 50% or so of the US population who lack the education to realise that this folly is completely self-harming.
To give him a tiny bit of credit, it’s quite clever politics. It appeals to the numbskull following that he has. Until it helps bring on a major recession. |

MLT and Beattie are doing one of these evenings in Christchurch in the next week or so, just up the road from where I work, and I can't be arsed to go.
I went to a MLT dinner and Q & A night a few years ago in Poole.
Adam Blackmore was also there and they brought that huge keeper from Sutton out who used to play for Saints.
I was seriously disappointed.
Every other word that MLT said was fcuk.
I use industrial language as much as the next man, but he was sounding like Bernard Manning, and I thought he was a lot more intelligent than that. |

I agree with this.
We got very good prices for Lavia and Ward-Prowse when we sold them 2 years ago.
But then at the time I think we had Wilcox overseeing the sales of players, and comically mucking Liverpool about in their chase of Lavia.
We will have to see if Spors has quite the same level of cunning about him. |

Amusing that the share prices of American car manufacturers tumbled last night after Trump's idiotic announcement.
The fact that most of the cars made in America rely on parts from overseas, and that those parts are also going to have the 25% tariff applied to them, appears to have been utterly lost on the clown. |

His wife has kept him out of jail; God knows what fear she is living under. Poor woman.

Women’s football gets a very high amount of coverage in this country relative to the number of people who actually watch it.
Seems to me they only get decent crowds for WSL matches when prices are heavily discounted. |
