It has been a magnificent 20 seasons but it’s time for me Mr Happy to step down due to some personal issues - so I won’t be around.

Will I return ? Time will tell - but not for now.

This league was started in 2005/6 if I remember with 6 people when I lived in Colchester.

Amazing it’s gone from strength to strength.

Mick MFB our king has run it superbly the past few years

I hand it over completely.

May the Happy name live on.

I have loved every minute

I finish 4th in the grand league table upon my now departure.

Mick do update the stats please - I done my best with it for now.

I love you all !!

I hope the Fat Gooner is ok after his impressive runners up spot in the Prem last year ...he’s gone off the radar ....🙌Also looking over some records I note Burnsie has lost ALL 4 or so finals he has been involved in and also finished runner up in the PREM- never easy to get silverware.🥴

I wish them both a successful 2023.

Before I forget I’d like to wish him a great day in advance - he has done a brilliant job on here as you all know - I will be looking to send him something for his superb work - probably a Christmas gesture - he is after all - our greatest ever player to boot !

I wont give away his age but let’s just say he’s 60 plus !!

It’s going to the wire and will the long awaited exile of WESSEX be over - years in the doldrums after being a force many moons ago - is the revival finally upon us ? And BFG who has never done a thing of note in the league over the years - is this also his chance. My preseason FAV Thrillseeker and one of the greats will surely over power them in the run in as he has so much class - someone will have to miss out methinks. As for the play offs my hand has been forced to oppose everything that Burnsie has predicted in order to claw back the 4 point gap and I have a sneaky feeling Lewis might be the fly in the ointment and nick the final spot - all others including my pal Gerry didn’t have enough in the tank sadly - and that was why tongue in cheek I was able to offer silly money at the beginning of the season. I know my onions !😇😂👍🙌⚽️

And also for being a superb results reporter with your top notch round ups

The only player to have won 4 trophies in one season - a clean sweep and our best ever player.

People in certain parts of Europe being told to get jabbed by a certain time or face not being able to work again.

Do these measures seem to be the way forward now to eradicate this ‘plague’ once and for all ?

Or is it a disgrace to force peoples hand ?
