And I love the fact he comes and bows to all parts of the ground after every home game. Was a bit odd after the Middlesbrough game when every player was getting grief and quite rightly so after that shambles.
He did the right thing. It was a handball. He waited to see what happened after the player touched it. As it was straight to be a goal he had to blow up. It’s irrelevant whether it was deliberate or not. Had the player passed it to someone else and they scored it would have been fine. I thought Ward did a good job yesterday.
This is blind panic from Nourry as he knows his job is on the line. He has set the club up this summer with his recruitment and his decision to allow the Head of Performance to work remotely in another Continent. It’s an absolute farce. This experiment of a lad on work experience has failed miserably. I was talking to the lads who sit around me at the last home game that when we go down this season then my seat will and experience will be the exact same as the last time in League 1 20 odd years ago! It shows how we have not moved on as a club despite these owners who have wasted million after million. I am trying to get my head round how bad the other candidates must have been who they interviewed alongside Nourry. We deserve what we get this season because it has been an utter shambles. We struggled for goals big time last season and somehow have managed to make our work force even weaker this season. And don’t start me on the absolute clowns like Celar, Madsen, Heverton who we have signed from Mickey Mouse teams in Mickey Mouse leagues. It has been an utter farce. Get Nourry out now whilst we can whilst he is still in his probationary year. The kid needs to do his work experience somewhere else.
One would assume that Nourry is still in his probationary year and can be saved at any moment for incompetence. The experiment of the lad on work experience has failed miserably and the board need to make the change now before he does anymore damage.
I can’t get my head round how our board who are such successful people in other businesses feel that a young kid on work experience was the best person to be our CEO and to run the club. The sooner Nourry gets sacked by the board the better. This experiment with the apprentice has been an unmitigated disaster. We need to get him out before he makes anymore catastrophic decisions. We need Reuben and Amit to do the right thing.
Surely he applied for the job at QPR before the board to give it to the kid on work experience?
Someone like Gallen understands the club. We now have this utter clown still wearing nappies playing Football Manager in his bedroom. Our club is an utter shambles.
It’s not rocket Science what you need to have to do well in this league. Warnock had the right balance. Proper pros who knew this league with the magic of Tarabat. We signed a whole group of players who have never played in the Championship. Most of them came from mediocre leagues. Many of them were absolute tiny and physically not ready for this league. We have been found out and Nourry’s data signings have been an utter shambles. I cannot fathom how the board with all their wealth have given so much power to someone who looks like they’re on work experience at the club. It’s utter shambles. Andy Belk is a big part of the problem as well as we are stuck with so many of these players now. How are we going into games at this level with the current squad that we have? How do they honestly think we will get to 50 points? How have they allowed the Head of Fitness and Performance to work from abroad in Dubai given our current situation. It’s an utter embarrassment.
Madden literally does nothing on the pitch. He’s about 6’3. He doesn’t get stuck in. He doesn’t drive with the ball. He avoids demanding the ball. Literally offers nothing. Celar is just a joke. The guy doesn’t do the basics of what a striker should do. Just gets offside constantly. And as for Santos. The guy is like someone from the park who has been asked to play for us. He is so out of his depth at this level. Another one who is just not good enough. Another Nourry signing.
The more I watch this side the more angry I get with Nourry. The squad he has picked from Football Manager with Andy Belk is beyond rubbish. The guy is barely out of nappies. What on earth did he do in his interview to convince the owners he was the man for the job? We are so lightweight. The players are not designed for the toughness of this league. The signings were so bad and now we are stuck with them for 4 or 5 years in some cases! That is shocking. Nourry needs to front up and do an interview and give the fans a breakdown of the recruitment of these players because it is has been utter gash and there are no signs of it improving.
Celar is absolutely toilet. I can’t believe we have scouted this bloke. The bloke who signed him needs to be sacked. He literally does nothing as a centre forward. He doesn’t press. He doesn’t hold the ball up. He doesn’t run behind. He doesn’t run the channels. He never wins a header. I am at a loss what he actually does. It’s incredulous to think how poor our forwards were last year and QPR being QPR have somehow managed to bring forwards even f*cking weaker! And why have we signed so many attacking players who are all bleeding 5 foot tall! We are constantly outmuscled. Our summer recruitment has been an utter shambles.
It’s absolutely ridiculous we are in this situation again. We have one out and out striker now for a few weeks. The coach won’t pick Kolli because he won’t sign a contract. Frey is always picking up niggles and is now injured again. Lloyd was playing last season in non-league. Why do we put ourselves in this flaming situation every season? And now we have Celar who has never looked like scoring let alone scored a goal for us. This is all on the apprentice in the board room playing Football Manager with his mates. We have signed some absolute garbage from Mickey Mouse teams and leagues. You need 4 strikers going into any season.
He’s never a centre midfielder in a million years. He ambles around the pitch. To play centre mid you have to impact the game with pressing, tackling, passing and driving the team forward. He does none of this. Yesterday was not the first game where he was literally hiding. That’s inexcusable for a professional footballer. He’s come from a Mickey Mouse team with an average attendance of 4-5,000 a game in a poor league. He’s come to us and he’s way out of his depth for the intensity of the Championship. We are stuck with him on a ‘multi year’ contract because Nourry’s computer tells him he’s a good player. Obviously Nourry’s computer doesn’t take into account he’s playing in a joke league.
We always concede when Dunne plays centre back and very rarely win. We need to get JCS back alongside Cook. Move Dunne back to right back. I’d be inclined to get Fox to left back. Paal was unbelievably bad yesterday.
Must be the worst on record. They are all pretty much powder puff. Alarm bells in the summer when none of them have played at this level. Literally don’t knew where we go from here. These ‘data’ players have been nothing short of abysmal. We literally have no proper centre mids. Squad is just awash with luxury players. So many of our players hide in games. It’s unacceptable.
He literally offers nothing to the team. He doesn’t demand the ball or control the midfield. He is so bad. He is not good enough for this level of football. He’s on some mad 4 year contract or something. Another one we are now stuck with for years.
Condolences to Danny and all the family. George was an absolute legend at QPR. Would go home and away with QPR as well as England. So many at England knew him as well. He travelled on the LSA bus since it started. Everyone knew George. He was Mr QPR. Had an incredible knowledge of QPR games and he’s right up there with some of the biggest fans our great club has ever had. Saw him at the Euro final against Italy and he was there when we won the World Cup in 66. There can’t be many who were at both games. Here’s an article from The Sun from the day of the Euro final. RIP George:
