I recall when the skates were going bust in the 70s Ian St John their then manager, in desperation for money called Jock Stein for help and to be fair to him (Stein seemingly an honourable man) had his Celtic team down at Fratton pronto to bail out the fishy few. The ginger hordes turned up in numbers at short notice and took over the dump*.

I don’t like Celtic. Never have, never will. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised then that they appear to have more than have lived up to their billing the other night. Singing pro IRA songs in a city where so many were murdered is beyond moronic. The anti Royal stuff was pretty crass too, but they’re entitled to their views on that. But saluting mass murder? Utter cvnts.
Ok, so In terms of fighting Rangers fans were equally bad at Man U last week even though I’m tempted to give them a free pass (although I won’t) for slapping a few Man U fans, but it’s not the same.
But on further thought, how utterly pathetic and sad is it that a group of people in a supposed ‘first world country’ can be so bigoted, insensitive and crass in 2025? Their lives must be absolutely shit and I actually pity them.

Martin’s results speak for themselves. He was an obstinate, arrogant shit and an utter failure in the PL.
I’d have sacked the tvvat after 6 games which would have been easy as I certainly would not have extended his contract as the dimwits on the board did in the flush of our scraping up last season.
I have no idea if Ivan will be terrible (to coin a phrase) but I’m mighty relived and feel a lot more optimistic and will now likely renew my season ticket for next season. |

I don't really agree. Yes of course our current position is utter shit. But...
The club can recover, we have a very solid base and infrastructure etc and what are hos other options ? Compared to most, SFC is still a very attractive proposition. |
