1) have to agree I like the song but prefer Charlton’s version. Not sure who sung it 1st. Thought the support from them was a typical 2pm Sunday game and quite quiet. There main singing section seams to be in the main stand .
2) I winder how long it will be before our friends from Portsmouth will start saying “ world famous Fratton Park” after all they like myths .
3)I didn’t think they were that nasty , certainly no where near other clubs who’s fans are much worse. I’m sure a lot of saints fans would be singing “ going down with the pompey” if things were different.
4) the ground is near the station and a lot of cheap car parks near there, notts County’s ground and that part of the city.
5) plenty of pubs to chose from within a 15/20 min walk - and I don’t include hooters in that. |

I’m not sure the club have put all the top tier blocks on sale yet.
When Bournemouth played at Chelsea the other week they had all the lower tier up to behind the goal but not all the upper tier blocks.
Chelsea had a block of seats in the upper tier with the 1st couple of rows left empty.
I think it gives clubs a chance to take around 2000 tickets if they can sell more then 1500 but not the full 3000.
Perhaps Saints will be leaving their options open. |

It’s bloody obvious we need players to improve but what’s the point this season ? We are not going to survive. We should use this window to try and sell the dross like tall Paul, Bella Kotchap and Sulemana.
Would we want to keep Juric ? Jury is still out on him and one of the only sensible things the club have done since Sport Republic arrived is giving both parties a get out at the end of the season .
A creditable draw at Fulham, a narrow defeat to West Ham, a humiliation at home to Brentford and a comfortable win against a poor Swansea side since he arrived. |

Our support has help up well so far both home and away as you say .
I notice that there are still a good couple of hundred tickets left on general sale for Ipswich in a couple of weeks .
Also surprised to see we’ve taken the full 3000 for Chelsea and I can see that reaching general sale and may be the 1st away league game this season we don’t sell out . |

Everton were lucky they got their points deduction last season where 3 teams were by far worse than the rest.
This season it’s looking a lot closer with not a lot to choose between 4 clubs, so any points deduction could have made a big difference. |

Ramsdale is only one of couple we’d get decent money for , hopefully being January where it’s reported to be a hard window to buy we can demand as a minimum the £25 million we paid for him - hopefully we might get a bit more and it will help to balance the books from the summer . |

So how come we buy players then loan them out to other sport Republic owned clubs , yet we have to buy players from other sport republic owned clubs.

Hopefully now Juric has learnt that Tall Paul is a load of shit, that Sulemana doesn’t like to work, Sugawara has a mistake in him every game and Bree is not an attacking fall back.
If he hasn’t then he’s just as bad a Martin.
I’d even add playing 3 centre backs is not a good idea either. |

Seem strange that we went from spending £7 million on a keeper to £20 million when all of a sudden Ramsdale became available who we had been chasing for much of the summer. |

Ever since Sport Republic arrived they’ve made bad decision after bad decision you couldn’t brake a club better if you tried.
What’s more shameful is they’ve spent about £200 million to get relegated twice and put together the worst team in top flight history.
From not sacking Ralph in that 1st summer, giving him a load of coaches he didn’t want, as you say a fascination of buying young players from Man City, and wasting millions on players like tall Paul and Sulemana .
Utter chances and you wonder how Sport republic have not gone bust way before they came along. |

It seems every pre match you say the same thing, “if we lose this then it’s done and dusted” the truth is we’ve been down since October and there’s a good chance Leicester on 14 points have more points already then we are going to get after 38 games.
What we all want is to go down with a bit of fight and not go down as the worst team in top flight history.
Brentford not won away yet , have a few injury issues them selfs , played on Wednesday when we last played on Sunday.
